Have anyone heard of Nosatsu Junkie? If you haven't, let me fill you in!

It's about two kids named Naka and Umi. They're both models for an agency and appear to be rivals. Naka confessed her love to her sempai, but was dumped because he thinks she's scary when she smiles, and also because he likes Umi-a cute model. Naka wants to beat Umi to show her sempai he's wrong. One day, she comes across Umi and sees she dropped something. When Naka picks it up, she sees that it's an identity card. On it, it says "Male". Umi freaks out when Naka finds out and suddenly changes her, or uh...HIS attitude. Something along the lines, "If you tell anyone-I'll-kill-you."

In exchange for keeping his secret, Umi allows Naka to be his model partner. Naka models beside him. There's just one problem....Naka's smile is evil. Every time she smiles, she looks like she's gonna kill someone!!  This gets in the way of modeling and no one sees that she'll be good. Umi on the other hand, still thinks she's cute and helps her along. They found that she's good when she's not smiling, but how many model jobs are frowning jobs?

Umi is indeed successful, but there's one person that shakes Umi's insides! It's a seventeen-year old photographer. The first time Umi had a job as his as photographer, he told "him" that all the expressions were absolutely fake and not worth credit. In volume 1, this same guy comes into play and drives Umi crazy.

Just like Special A, Fruits Basket, Hana-Kimi, Gakuen Alice, and Skip Beat, it runs in the Hana to Yume magazine. I also keep up with it's latest releases in Japan. In their features, it is called Charming Junkie, so I'm used to calling it that. And all hope is not lost............Naka smiles for real in chapter 50-something. She's adoreable guys!

Nosatsu Junkie is a cute, loveable comedy that I enjoy very much! (Notice that I say "I", not "everybody"...)
