TOKYOPOP Creators Rock Kinokuniya NYC!!

Kinokuniya Hits a Homerun with their Event Featuring Japanamerica Author and TOKYOPOP Creators!

Nearly 100 people attended a discussion featuring TOKYOPOP creators June Kim (author and artist of 12 Days), James Barry (artist of Warriors the Manga), Melissa DeJesus (artist of Sokora Refugees), and Hiroki Otsuka (artist of Boys of Summer), and moderated by
Roland Kelts (author of Japanamerica) at Kinokuniya bookstore in Bryant Park, New York City, on February 27. 

Thanks to all of you attended the panel and signing and helped make it such a success! And thank you to Roland Kelts and Kinokuniya NYC for their fantastic cooperation and support of the event!

I was the one who did the video footage. Really cool event it was , I had a blast. It was nice seeing all my anime crew buddies & fellow artists , I look forward to future events such as this one. I read Roland's book , it's a very interesting look into Japanese pop culture.
