The Chosen Blade--- Ch.1-The dream
Haruko Karasuma was walking home from school.He had just turned 14 today, and had a big celbreation at school. Haruko was and ordinary boy, with and ordinary life. people always adored him..either for his manners or his looks. anyways, he was walking home from school, but just then, saw his friend, Reiuchi Katansura.
Reiuchi:" Wassup Haruko???"
Haruko: "eh, nothing much..just gonna pick up some groceries for my mom on the way home."
Reiuchi gave a short laugh.
Reiuchi: " ha, mama's boy!"
Haruko: "Shut up Reiuchi..."
Reiuchi: "ahh, im just joking haruko...and besides...you have no choice..pick up the groceries..or your mom will never let you see the light again..ha, you know how she is!"
They both laughed as they talk about how Haruko's mom is very weird..but they both know that she's nice and kind..as long as you do what she says.
After awhile, Reuchi headed home, and Haruko too, headed home with a bag of groceries.He noticed that nobody was home...which is very awkward, because his mom and his sister are always home. Cautiosly, he entered the kitchen, where he saw a note. it read:hey haruko, your sister and i are going to the store to buy some groceries. stay home, and be safe! love, mom.
weird, Haruko thought,mom already told me to get the groceries..why buy more?With a shrug, he pushed the thought out of the way. just then, he noticed how tired he was, and decided to go take a nap.
Moments late after he's fallen asleep, he had a dream...a very weird dream:
Haruko was at a place...he could see a waterfall..hear the birds chirpping..and realized that he was in a very, beautiful, quiet place. Just then, an old man appeared.
OldMan: "ah....haruko..i've been waiting for you..."
Haruko: "what the....who..who are you? and where am i?
The oldman chuckled.
OldMan: why, you don't remeber this place? this is where you're born. this is the place where......your parents died..
Haruko: What??!! what are you talking about?! my parents are alive! there at home! and i was born in japan, not here!
The old man sighed.
Oldman: " yes...there's not much you know...but i will tell you all you need to know at another time...but now..you, Haruko, must go get your friend Reiuchi, to meet me at the Sang Ye Temple."
Haruko: "but-
Oldman: "No time to explain..please, go get Reuchi, and then...and then you'l know what to do. please, hurry..your the only one....you need to stop the demon..the world is in your hands..."
Before Haruko can talk, there was a flash of a bright light. Just then, Haruko awoke with fright. his body was shaking, and he felt like throwing up. He? the only one? to stop a demon? it all seemed stupid, and he thought it was just a stupid dream..but then..something caught his eye. something that made his "dream" real. on the floor.. was a blade....The Kusanagi.
