Zokusho news 2/25/08
Well, I got a rejection letter from TP about me and Brandon's entry, which means that we're back to square one in regards to what needs to be done. Now that it's not involved in a contest, we'll probably put it up at some point. I must admit, getting a form letter telling you that you failed without even the slightest clue of what was done wrong stings a bit...but I'm not licked yet-I just gotta figure out what I can do better, then get back on it...*sigh*
Well, I guess that's enough time wallowing in self-pity. Time to get back on things. I'll let you guys know when I have more news. Be sure to visit the forums and check out the newest chapter when you have a minute. And if you haven't already, Brandon's put up the first part of Zokusho Fight, which is coming along nicely.

Man, I don't even know what to say. I'm sure they get a ton of entries, but I would still think that they could have found the time to give a general idea of where you went wrong. But I'm glad you're not giving up. There's always next year.

ARGH!! Governor's school letters are way worse. "Dear *blank*, We are very impressed by your entry, *hollow complement, hollow complement, hollow complement*. As you are aware, the Governor's School is highly selective and can only accept 20 students in your area per year. This year, we are unable to accept you into the program. Again, you have not been chosen to participate in this year's Governor's school. Ta, ta, bee-yotch." Crappy rejection letters suck hardcore. A good one can actually be useful, though... Sorry you got one that sounds just as bad as mine.

You got rejected with no comment sheet? That's pretty rude, almost as bad as theatre dink letters. (Dear (your name here), Because of (bogus reason), we have been unable to cast you. Please try out for our next show, and have a nice day.) Still, don't give up! And good luck!
