5. Why did you decided to create a manga that is based on magic?

また、それら商品についてどのようにお考えですか（感想など）

6. Are you involved in the production of Gakuen Alice’s TV games or anime? And what are your thoughts on these products?

I’m hardly involved in the production of the anime and the TV game. I only checked the most basic elements and said YES or NO. The people involved in the production are numerous and all professionals. Therefore I am looking forward to seeing how the professional group cooks up this boring manga that was composed by an individual. Sometimes I felt a little depressed to see that the anime drawings were sloppy, but after watching 1-3 episodes that were so wonderfully arranged, now I am most thankful to them. And I’m very pleased with the music. I was also impressed by the wonderful job that the voice actors did. I’m appreciative of all the staff members.

Since I’m not really a game person, I couldn’t really understand the rules and was only able to play a little bit of it. Yet from what I heard from people, and noticed myself, the Nintendo and GBA games, especially, incorporated even the minute details of the original story into the game. I’m very appreciative that they have paid attention to the  original story with such care.

か。

7. If you could gain any of Alice’s abilities, which ability would you want?

The Alice of Intuition maybe. I probably won’t make any wrong choices in life then... Or, the Alice of Time Manipulation—because I have a hard time with the deadlines.

8. Who is your favorite character in Gakuen Alice, and why?

Hmmmm...this is hard. I love all the characters the same. In other words, it is hard to manipulate the characters in the story if there is lack of attachment to them. So if you look at it that way, since I’m moving Mikan around the story a lot, I suppose it might be her. And also Bear perhaps, because I was told that I resemble it.
