ADV recently confirmed the changes in a press release. While it means for most fans, availability of Geneon's titles will remain unaffected, one has to ponder on what it all means, as several of Geneon's staff are let go, and whether or not it will have an affect on the number of titles they release in the future.

As one of the larger, quality importers of anime, it's sad to see them diminished in a declining market. Anime may be seemingly be growing more popular, but sales of Anime itself isn't.
