First off, when you look at the rose, the pink doesn't look as disgusting as it usually would/does on other things (like the real pink roses <.<). Not to mention the (I think it's gold) outline of the rose gives it detail and more color than it would normally have. The stem and leaves were drawn in such great proportion, not to mention the vivid colors.

      The second thing is the background. You can see the faint touch of the outlining roses around the right side of the picture. It's just so pretty, (<-- What a professional word XD) and in such great detail! The lines are smooth, and the blend of colors in the rest touch just the right places. The green used for the background is also the perfect shade and color. I can't think of any other color that would have gone together as good with that rose. 

      Overall, this was a wonderful pastel drawing. No accidental smudges as far as I can see, it's simply gallery art! If anyone bothers to read this review I hope you would recognize the awesomeness of that rose! Excuse me. I'm going a little nuts/bonkers, so I'll stop now. (Not to mention I have to do homework...)
