“Skye what up” Someone yelled. I looked around to see who was yelling for me. I saw my best friend Hannah running towards me. Hannah had long blond hair and eyes the color of the sky.

“Hey what’s up Hannah” I yelled

“We need you. Alan is about to get in another fight.”

“Not again” I said under my breath. We started running down the street in the direction that Hannah had come from. I started to pull back my hair so it wouldn’t get in the way.

“So what happened this time” I asked after a few minutes of running.

“I don’t really know. All I do know is that some guys just came up to him started picking on.”

“darn it. Don’t these guys ever learn?” I asked really annoyed by now.

“I guess no……” Hannah was cut off by someone yelling. Me and Hannah looked at each other and took off at a dead run. We arrived to find Alan on the ground with a bloody noise and a busted lip. Hannah rushed to his side, while I stepped in-between them and three guys. They all seemed to pale because they knew a beating was coming. I may not look it with my waist length red hair and green eyes but I could bench press 300 pounds, and these three knew it to because we’ve done this before and last time did not go so well for them.

 “So it’s you three again huh?” I asked with a smile of pure evil on my face.

“W……W…..We didn’t do anything to him. I swear!” One of the guys finally said. I looked over at the one who spoke. His name was Kai, he had black spiked hair; green eyes and a face and body to die for but from what I’ve seen he’s just another jerk.

 “Oh really, then why is Alan on the ground bleeding? Huh?” I asked. Kai looked like he wanted to run but instead said  

 “I don’t know. We just got here. And the only reason why we are here is because we heard someone yelling and wanted to make sure nobody was hurt.”

 I looked at him oddly trying to figure out if he was telling the truth or not.

“They didn’t do it this time; it was someone else this time.” They all looked back at Alan who spoke.

“So they didn’t do it this time huh?” I asked finally

“No they didn’t and before you ask no I didn’t know who they were because I’ve never seen them around before.”

“Ok then, Hannah go get him cleaned up before his mom see’s him like this.” I told Hannah. After they left I turned to Kai and his two friend’s and said “I am really sorry for blaming you for beating up Alan” I tried to look as sorry as I felt but I don’t think it was working very well. Kai looked at me like he couldn’t believe that I was apologizing to him.

 I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. To me it sounded as if Skye was apologizing to me for blaming me for beating up Alan. So this is the part where I wake up. Nope still must be a sleep. Well if this is real then I’m really glad because I still remember what happened last time.

                               FLASH BACK

 “How dare you beat up Alan?” A girl with beautiful red hair and bright green eyes said to me in a clam voice. Her voice was the most beautiful voice that I have ever heard and I would have done anything to hear again.

“So what are you going to do about it?” I asked

“Skye please try not to hurt them to bad.” I looked over at Alan, who was on the ground, with his face covered in blood, in some girl’s arms. I think her name was Hannah but I wasn’t sure. I started to laugh at this point, when Skye finally asked

 “What’s so funny? And Alan I can’t promise you anything.” An evil smile came across her sweet looking face.

 “I was laughing at the fact that the big guy over there, that couldn’t even throw a punch, thinks a girl can beat me up.” And with that I started to laugh. I was laughing so hard that I had to close my eyes, and that’s when the first punch hit me in the stomach. It was so painful that my eyes started to water. I opened my eyes to find myself looking at Skye’s face. When she finally moved I fell to the ground holding my stomach for dear life. After a few minutes I finally looked up at Skye,

   “ Awww what’s the matter did the little girl make the big man cry?” she asked in a childish voice. She started to laugh and that’s when Chad and James went after her. I really thought that she was a goner because for 1 it’s two against one, 2 both Chad and James were both powerhouses and for 3 they both have never lost a fight before. But once again I was wrong; she had them on their backs in 5 seconds flat. And the really funny thing was that I hadn’t even seen her move.

                                       END FLASH BACK

 With that in mind, I looked at her, and she looked like she was trying not to laugh.

 “Oh nothing…… it’s just that you look like you don’t believe me. That’s all” She said, I looked at her face and thought

 “Man why does a girl so beautiful have to be so mean and strong?”

 “It’s because that’s who she is” I heard in my head

 “darn it, did I ask you what you thought. I don’t think so.” darn I hate this demon inside of me. “So why don’t you protect me from her when she did beat me up. Huh?” thought bitterly

“Because it’s what I want to happen” with that it started to laugh at me.

“Shut up you darn demon.” With that I stopped talking to the demon and finally realized that I was staring at Skye. I looked down at the ground and I could feel the heat rising to my face. “I’ll see you at school tomorrow or something.”  And with that I glanced up at her and started to walk away with Chad and James close be hide.
