The Past

I was walking fast

I was walking away from my past

I started to run but the past was catching up on me

I couldn’t out run it

Then I saw it

It was a cliff that over looked the bay

People always told me it is dangerous and to stay way

I couldn’t I had no choice but to keep running from the past

I couldn’t run any furtherer we were at the cliff at last

But I was cornered the past has finally caught to me and all I could see is the bay

I jumped I couldn’t face my past and I said this was the only way
