Before you rant and scream and send flames hear me out. 'Hands Off!' is TokyoPop's name for 'Sono te wo Dokero!'. I saw the translations for the first chapter of the series and fell in love with it. Yet the English version is a clear disappointment. Throughout the book, dialog is altered to reflect street slang, American street slang. I could understand if the editors were trying to reflect that Sono te wo Dokero was a Manga set in modern day and about normal teens, yet this is a Asuka publication, and the language shouldn't be THAT altered. A lot of the original story line is lost when the text is 'Americanized'. Personally, if you want to read it that badly, I'd say get the Japanese Tankoban, which is half the price of the US version even after import charges, and look up a text translation.

i actually really loved Hands Off! I liked the background and the way they talked. Maybe that's because I live in America and that's how I talk, but I enjoyed reading it. Can't wait to buy the rest. ^_^

Ahh... Synopsis, background, character info and others would be nice. Instead of a straight comparison between the dialogues
