Pirates Of Warcraft- Chapter Two

Chapter Two; "Welcome To Theramore"

Although Theramore is not technically Kalimdor, it is considered a major part of the continent, as it was once the proud standing home of the Alliance, after the war, it became a shining city within the world. This is also where Chance would find his contact, hopefully anyway. He had sailed jagged rocks and raging seas to find this contact, of course, he was the best Pirate out there, so the dangers of the Great Sea meant nothing to him, he could get through it all.

The sun was finally setting over the large walls of Theramore as Chance reached a pub of interest. A pub which once saw many hectic nights as dwarves and humans often clashed over the disputes of the war, some felt you could still find lost teeth under the floorboards. Theramore once felt alot more mystical, now it was just land, with a city built atop it. Nothing particular standing out to Chance besides nearly nude and attractive Night Elves that traveled from Moonglade looking for work and a ship to sail on. Allowing most Elves to get jobs as entertainers on ships, as strippers, or more pleasurable activities for their Captain.

Chance was not interested in those activities, not for the entire crew anyway. Having been a single man his entire life, Chance was allowed to enjoy more kinky nights with a local Night Elf, or Blood Elf. Or both, but then Chance wasn't one to tell stories of his victories. He did, however, like to admire. The pub was quiet, eerily so. A few grabbed a drink while others waited as Chance passed through to the bar, taking a seat as he glanced around for his contact, who didn't seem to be found.

"I'll have a Frost," Chance said, slapping his coins down on the bar, having docked here a number of times before, Chance became well aquantied with their prices. The drink was delivered and Chance escaped into the back of the pub, taking a seat in a comfortable little booth. Frisky Potatoes was run by a dwarf who had drank enough to never be sober for the rest of her life, which was probably why it obtained such a strange name. Or the local rumor that she really had a frisky potatoe, but that was a tale for another time.

Having begun to relax, Chance was annoyed to see a Tauren approaching, a quite familiar one, which was surprising given they looked so much alike. "You."

"Hey," Chance replied. "How's your mom?" he added rudely.

The Tauren took a seat, causing the whole booth to shake as he forced his large frame between the seat and table, which was no easy feat. "I thought I told you to stay out of here."

"Listen, kiddo, you're still wound up over those dancers?" he asked with a large grin.

You see, Chance would have an interesting encounter with those dancers, owned by this Tauren, not only did he find them all with Chance in a private heating spa, and it must have been pretty hot for them to all be nude, but Chance also manipulated the girls to rebelling on his crusier, the whole ship was lost in the end. In fact, it was last said to be occupied by these dancers, the ship now known as the Dirty Dance, the girls still missed those frantic nights with their Pirate. They were now pirates themselves, feared too.

Grum, though, still felt Chance owed him for the cruiser, and the dancers. "There's still the point of yoru payment."

"Oh, I have the payment," Chance said.

"On you?" Grum pressed.

"Not on me," Chance corrected. "It's up your mom's ass."

In a fit of rage, Grum slammed his fist onto the table, breaking a hole into it as he shouted; "Then perhaps I'll take your ship!"

"Over my dead body," Chance taunted darkly.

"That's the idea."

As Grum started to raise himself in the air, a single shot of a gun was fired, smoke lifting from under the table on Chance's side, the Pirate having quietly pulled out his flintlock as he led Grum on during his stark remarks. Chance was relaxed the whole time as Grum's body fell over the table limp. Sighing, Chance lifted himself up and snatched Grum's sack of coins and proceeded away from the table as the shocked bar-goers watched in awe. "Sorry about the mess," Chance apologized dryly.

During his conversation with Grum, Chance had noticed a couple of Night Elves, some stealth trained ones he had met before when around his contact, they had popped in very quickly, and then continued outside, Chance assumed they shared a similar goal. And if they didn't, he was sure they could use some company. Attempting to be subtle, Chance carefully dodged outside of the Frisky Potatoe, to find the two Night Elves trailing down an empty path as the moon shined on their purple skin, both were female, and incredibly good looking.

Chance's hand rested on his gun's handle, trailing his fingers around the holster, ready to pull it out if it became necessary. The path was darkening as the trees hanging over began to cover the rays of the moon, and the lone Pirate could hear the trees rustling in the wind as the cool breeze flew around him. But the Night Elves were gone, not even their scent hung in the air.

Narrowing his eyes, Chance looked for any odd sights, glowing eyes, something, but there was nothing. And suddenly, he was ambushed, or they attempted to anyway. Chanced had tugged one of the females to the ground, as they both fought for control, finally Chance gained the upper hand, smacked the female with his elbow while jerking out his pistol, and left it pressed tightly into her forehead. "Bad move, sweetheart," he spoke darkly.

"Let her be!" the other demanded.

"I was trained by one of your elders," Chance said, which was true, the elder in particular was Gazren, a powerful Night Elf Rogue who had mastered the art of assassination and stealth, having trained among some of the best during the war between The Alliance and Horde. This allowed Chance to learn many attacks and the art of stealth combat, making himself a master of stalking his prey, and knowning the world around him. Chance was the best, or he would tell you as much. "it was amature, really, trying to sneak up on me. You were so loud a deaf dwarf could have noticed you."

With a clear eye, Chance noticed the Night Elf he was taunting begin to reach for a secluded dagger hidden among her lower skirt. "Touch that dagger and I'll put a bullet through her brain," Chance threatened. "And then I'll kill you." This forced the Night Elf to stop in her tracks, and, seductivly, trace her fingers back up her thigh as she cocked an eyebrow, Chance was just enjoying the show.

"Chance, is that you?" she questioned as Chance tightened his grip around the younger's throat.

The Pirate narrowed his eyes. "Raven," Chance deduced.

"What the hell are you doing?" Raven questioned annoyingly.

"My contact, Iris, she was suppose to meet me at the pub," Chance explained. His Blood Elf contact should have easily managed to reach the pub on Theramore, but night had come, and Iris wasn't to be found.

"My apprentice, who you're still choking," she noted, who Chance quickly let go and carefully pushed toward Raven, smiling smugly. "and I were also on course for a meeting with Iris."

"Why?" Chance pressed. "She isn't a trainer."

Something was up, Iris didn't usually handle small meetings with Night Elves, they knew something, and he wondered if it had to do what what he sought. He couldn't say anything outright, but he was curious.

Unfortunately, Raven was not in a devulging mood. "Why not share your troubles?" Raven checked on her Apprentice, who was rubbing her dark throat, she was okay, just a mark from the gun on her forehead, which would have gone away soon enough.

"Iris's pregnant with my kid," Chance lied to be difficult.

Raven knew Chance well enough. "Wow, she actually slept with you."

"She loves my big gun."

Raven rolled her eyes, not wanting to continue this immature discussion. "If Iris is not here, I fear for the worst."

"She would have to still be on Kalimdor," Chance surmised. "I have a ship."

"I doubt we should be trusting you," Raven spat, she did not know Chance personally except for his dealings with Iris. But Chance knew well enough that Raven was no personal friend to Iris, she was just an insider, a messenger, and whatever was so radically important, Chance was curious to know the same.

Chance, on the other hand, may have had a personal hand in this, he knew Iris well. The two shared a purely sexual relationship for some time before it finally broke off. Chance was obviously interested in the attractive blood elf in more ways than one, but he would have to remain focused, he was there for the prize.

"You go about this alone and you're going to get yourself, and your buddy, killed," Chance warned. "But, see, I'm the one with a ship, and a crew."

"You don't have anything special."

"Just the fastest ship in the Great Sea, nigh catchable," Chance reminded in his usual cocky tone. "And a crew willing to fight were it to become necessary."

"We can handle ourselves," Raven noted.

"Like you did against me," Chance spoke. "Yeah, I could have easily killed you both."

Raven rolled her eyes as her Apprentice, looking frightened, whispered something to her, the two conversed for a few moments before Raven finally approached Chance with an open palm. "Fine, we'll go aboard your ship," Raven agreed. "I want my apprectice left alone, there's no need to pick at her mind."

"Then we'll go at this together," Chance said. "But it is my ship, and you'll follow my orders. Do we have an accord?"

Raven sighed annoyingly and nodded, Chance snatched her hand, the accord was set.

And so the charming, annoyingly so, Pirate led the way to the Sparrow, they would need to reach Kalimdor immediately, whatever had become of Iris was tied into the puzzle Chance had been after. She was in danger, he was certain of it.
