Eric's Party of Death

One day, Eric Levinson's life changed for the worse. Or so he thought. He woke up one day to the sound of sirens. When he got up out of bed, he went to his window. His parents were being led out of the house in handcuffs. Now, this 17 year old boy wanted to know why his parents were being arrested. His birthday was only two days away, and his parents were being arrested? What gives?

Eric got up, saw his parents get arrested and went to school. Around sixth period, he got called to the principal's office. He got his stuff and walked down the seemingly endless hallway. When he got there, thee were two police officers in the office. He got worried. What if they were there for him? He told himself to calm down, that it was nothing. It was probably just a misunderstanding.

The police told him why his parents were arrested. He was shocked. There was no way it was his mom and dad. He had been told that he had been kidnapped by these people when he was young, and that there were new leads on his case. He couldn't believe it. What had happened to the life he had known?

Apparently, Mr. & Mrs. Oliver Levinson had taken Eric from his birth mother. They were not able to have children themselves so they took someone else's. Eric's heart hardened. Police didn't lie about something this serious. So it must be true, he thought.

After school, Eric went to the jailhouse. He had to confront the people who had given him a home and a loving family. When he met with them, he asked them for the truth about what happened 17 years ago to make them commit such a dastardly crime. His "mom" wanted to know why, but his "father" opened up about the whole thing. Eric was told that 17 years ago, Eric had been taken from his mother in a desperate time of need. The people who had taken him were his aunt and uncle. They felt terrible....Someone must've found out about it, because if they hadn't, Eric would have never known the difference.

Eric left shortly thereafter. He had to think about what he had been told. When he got home, he decided to do his homework because he knew he had to stop thinking about it eventually. It worked for a little while, but around 9, he heard the front door open and close. He went to the hall o see who it was, then went back into the kitchen when he saw it was them. Instead of talking, he got his food and his work and went to bed.

The next morning, Eric got up and went to school as if nothing had happened.

His birthday was tomorrow and he didn't want anything to spoil it for him. He was excited and had everything planned out. He knew everything, who was coming, who wasn't coming, the food, everything to know. He just didn't want his parents there to ruin it.

When 4th period came around, he went outside and called them. He told them to stay away from his party the next day. They agreed and asked why. He said it was because of yesterday. He hung up, knowing that they would show. So, he decided to enlist a little help.

Eric called his friend, Tony. Now, Tony was a famous body builder. He asked Tony to bring his semi-automatic to his birthday bash the next day. It would come in handy.

8th period came and went quickly. So, when Eric got home, he took a shower, and left to go see his girl, Toni. She was a wonderful woman for 19. She was beautiful, smart, funny and loved kids. She was also Eric's fiancée. They were to be wed the day after his birthday.

Eric arrived at Toni's house a little while later. She lived 20 minutes away from him. He knocked on the door then walked right in. Toni's parents had died the year before and left the house to the two of them. But, Eric was not allowed to move out until he turned 18. One more day wasn't going to kill him. So they had to wait.

When he was in, he went into the kitchen to find Toni making dinner. He wrapped his arms around her waist. She gasped in surprise. She turned away from the stove just in time for Eric's kiss. They kissed and the kiss tuned deep and passionate. They were both gasping for breath by the time it ended.

Toni turned back to the stove and tried to ignore Eric... He was a kind man. But, as much as she loved him, sometimes she just wanted to be left alone. She knew how he would feel if she said that to his face, so she kept quit about it. He told her about what happened to him. She stopped making dinner and turned to look at him. She was in a state of shock. She couldn't understand what kind of person would ever do that to a child.

When they had finished eating, they went into the living room to watch some TV. When they turned it on, the news was just coming on and the top story was about a 17-yr.-old kidnapping. Eric didn't want to watch it, but Toni wanted to learn more.

The news went off, and Toni and Eric were asleep on the couch together. When he got up, it was 2 in the morning. He was 18! Finally....He decided to go home and pack his things. He would be moving in the next day. They had agreed to it, him and Toni.

Eric had his party at 6 PM. Everyone was there. Now all he had to do was wait for his parents to show their faces and then everything would be perfect. When they finally did show up, he was ready for them. He invited them upstairs so that he could apologize properly. What they didn't know was that Tony was waiting for them in Eric's bedroom.

When they got up to Eric's bedroom, Tony stepped out of the closet and shot the Levinsons. They died within seconds of being shot. Tony was proud that he had helped a friend. They went downstairs after taking care of the bodies of Eric's so-called parents. Now, Eric could enjoy his 18th birthday party.

The next day, Toni and Eric finished moving Eric in.... They got married shortly after that. Toni was so happy to be Mrs. Eric Levinson that she could hardly believe she was really married to her high school sweetheart. She never even suspected that Eric had anything to do with his parents' death. She didn't know that Eric had plotted on killing them since the day he found out he was kidnapped. To her, he was the most wonderful and perfect man who ever lived.
