Some series may not have the best animation but have a wealth of emotion and feeling to them that makes people keep watching. There are those series though that look so amazing that people watch them when the depth of the show is lacking. Which is more important in deciding a series for you?

art...in my case writing other than that i sont show much emotion
..Isn't art born out of emotion?....
this gets me thinking... classic anime lyk trigun Bebop dont have the best anime but have great emotion. But one anime has both, FMA.
Cause the emations is more drama, and the more drama, the more you feel like your in the story.

It came to mind because I was watching Suzuka which I highly recommend that has a great deal of feelings and you can really get the characters, but the art isn't all the great. Art can definitely convey emotion, but a good script can do just the same.
