As the Robinson family neared the hotel the sun was already setting.  “This is it everybody” Father said as we pulled into the parking lot.  After checking us in they all went into the room and got ready for bed.  “Ian time to get to bed” Donnie said to Ian as Ian’s eyes searched the horizon.  “A storm is brewing” Ian stated cryptically.  “The only storm that is brewing is in your butt” Elijah grinned as he danced to unheard music.  Ian roared and ran after him into the room, leaving Donnie laughing and looking out at the horizon.

As Donnie awoke he could immediately taste the humidity.  “I didn’t know it was this humid in the Great Plains ” He commented sarcastically to Father as He walked to the balcony.  But as he turned his head to look outside Donnie noticed the storm clouds and the quick moving fog.  “This isn’t going to end well.”  He sighed as the fog seeped into the room.  The effect was immediate.  The entire Robinson family all slumped forward and fell asleep as laughter echoed in the distance.  Knowing that his family needed him, Donnie stepped forward and, using his magical powers, called the crystal blade to his hand.  The blade had countless abilities and harnessing its power Donnie made the blade hover on thin air.  “Let’s see if I can do this right this time” Donnie grumbled as he hopped on his sword.  As he landed the crystal morphed to fit his feet, almost causing him to lose his balance.  Directing the sword with his mind Donnie headed in the direction of the laughter.

As Donnie neared he slowed the crystal blade and hoped off.  “Well, Hydro, I did not know you had global dominance on your schedule for today” he said grinning at Hydro.  Hydro frowned “Get lost Donnie, I am here on official Elite business” he said flashing his warrant.  “Ahhhh, testing the latest mass control weapon on an innocent world, I see.  Well, I can’t allow that.” Donnie said as he readied his sword.  “Impeding an Elite officer in his mission is punishable by death.  Let’s skip the trial and start your execution.”  Hydro smiled as a cloak of fog enveloped them. 

Lost in the fog Donnie stumbled over a rock.  “Not easy is it?” Hydro’s voice echoed in the fog.  “With out your sight you will be unable to defend your self from an attack.”  Then as Donnie looked toward a geyser of water hit him and sent him flying.  The mist parted to reveal Hydro.  He was smiling.  “To easy for me” he smirked as he beckoned for ice to grow where Donnie was about to land.  Donnie hit the ice head on and lost consciousness. 

When Donnie awoke he shot up and hit his head on the melting ice.  “Owwwww, where am I?” Donnie mumbled as he got up.  “No, who am I, and where is here?”  Then his eyes seemed to fill with static as a picture slowly formed like a poor TV.  The picture was of a seeming young boy with pale skin and steel grey eyes.  “About time you regained consciousness” the boy emphasized with a wave of his hand.  “I was worried that I may have had to program to my retinal receiver, to deliver a condensed energy wave to force you to regain sensory input.”  “What is going on, who are you and what did you say?”  Donnie said wandering away rubbing his head.  The boy sighed and replied “Hydro’s mist has wiped your memory but I will fix that momentarily.  My name is RD as you will soon recollect, and I would have to shock you to wake you.  I am initializing the recollection program.  You might experience some slight discomfort.”  RD stated as he started typing on a key board.  Then Donnie’s brain felt like it exploded as he crumpled.

Donnie felt a flaming pain in his head to welcome him back to Earth.  “Ow, let me guess RD, I blacked out and you needed me awake.”  Donnie said standing up.  “Correct.  Hydro is preparing his new weapon in hopes of conquering your world.” RD said with a straight face.  Donnie, on the other hand chucked to himself.  “Is that all?  I guess that I have to stop him then” Donnie said mentally calling his crystal blade to his hand “Also correct.” RD said stoically. Then Donnie took his sword and cut the air.  Where he cut the air a rift opened a gateway between worlds.  “To Elite central then” Donnie smiled as he jumped into the rift.
