Chapter 2:

     After I finished my Trigonometry homework for Ms. Sesshomaru, the bell rang to first period and I went to class. English-gosh I hate this class. Ms. Kairi is so boring! “So did everyone study for the test?” Ms. Kairi asked. My stupid older brother Ichigo replied with a smart remark, “Who the hell ever does their homework for this annoying b***h? His friends laughed with him. I feel sorry for my brother. If you disrespect a teacher in this school, you fall through a dark hole in the floor and you don’t come out until days later. No one knows whatever happens in there. The people who actually come out alive become flabbergasted and can’t speak anymore. Ms. Kairi smacked Ichigo in the face then Ichigo went in through the hole of despair. I wonder what I should tell mom when she asks me “Where’s Ichigo?” Hm…
     The bell rang for second period: U.S. History with Mr. Zexion. We never learn about U.S. anymore-he always talks about his personal life and what he used to do when he was a teenager. Once he told us a procedure on how to blow up pigeons…but, it’s okay with me!
     I sat next to Uryuu and punched him. “Sup’ dude?!” He smiled and rubbed his arm where I punched him. “Fine thanks” he replied. “Um…can I ask you something?” I felt nervous…there were butterflies in my stomach. Why was I nervous to ask him this question? He gave me the look with the expression ‘What?’ on his face. “How come you never told me that Roxanne was coming back to school?” I wanted to die. I didn’t mean the question to come out like that. “Do I need to?” he asked me. Oh s**t. Why did I want to know? I mean, I don’t like her or anything. “No I was just asking, I thought she wasn’t coming back to school anymore…she is my friend too you know.” I felt like an evil b***h. He looked down at his books and knew I was right. Uryuu looked at me with eyes that made me feel guilty and scared. “Ask her yourself next period. Or whenever, you guys have more then one class together.” He looked around the room to find his boyfriend sitting down and playing with his Nintendo DS. Uryuu looked back and me and smiled. That was such a fake smile…
     The bell rang for third period. My heart beat was racing. I sat down in my regular seat and Roxanne came in 3 seconds later. She sat down next to me, my hands were getting clammy, but why? “Hey loser, I told you I was coming to third period.” She smiled. I like her smile. “I didn’t know if you were serious or not.” I looked away and then close my eyes trying not to be sad. “How come you didn’t tell me you were coming back?” I asked her. She looked at me with a confused face and then smiled again. “I wanted to surprise you, silly!” She punched my arm. I examined her from top to bottom; she did change over the summer. “You’ve changed over the summer.” I wasn’t supposed to say that out loud. “I know! I’ll tell you all about it when we walk to next period together.” I smiled. I wiped my hands on my jeans. I have Trigonometry with Riku next period, how am I supposed to talk to Roxanne?
