“Looks like i did have a miracle and she was standing next to me” was a very smooth line, a bit cliched though. The pace is also a little rushed. By slowing down the reader has more time to digest the information, and orientate themselves if there are dramatic changes or a scene change. A slower pace also makes it easier to read.
