I feel like I’m in a cage with nowhere to go -- I’m at my breaking point and its starting to show.

A tear runs down my face every time that I wake I’m starting to realize that I might be fake.

As I head off to school I put a smile on my face knowing that this look really isn’t the case.

I’m afraid of change and what’s to come.

I worry too much and sometimes feel dumb.

Everyone seems so perfect as I look around.

And then there’s me, not a sound.

Nobody knows who I really am or how I feel.

My life can be described as simply an ordinary wheel.

Today I twist and turn as my life keeps spinning.

I never ever feel as if I’m winning.

I try to be the best that I can possibly be.

But in the end I know I can only be me.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not always so sad.

In fact, I’m usually quite content and glad.

I try to live everyday like it’s my last.

Not looking back into my past.

I am who I am and that’s all I can be---I’m the only one who holds the right key.
