Some people may think that Naruto is so confusing because of all the series and the continuous episodes and the movies and the games that have nothing to do with the show.  Bu if you know whats going on, its awesome!  If you watch the ones on the weekdays here is some crap you should know (if you just started watching it):  Shino just beat up Kankura, but he is also almost dead.  Sasuke is fighting Temari because Gaara is out cold, BECAUSE of Sasuke.  (Gaara is an evil sand ninja who has a demon inside him becasue his father did it.  Temari and Kankuro are his siblings but they are afraid of him because he thinks killing people is his purpose in life.  Shino is a cool ninja who uses bugs as weapons.  Sasuke is the second remaining Uchiha, his clan.  His brother Itachi killed them all but he is sidetracking because he has to stop the sound and sound ninja from destroying his village.  Sakura is a ninja who likes Sasuke.  Naruto is the main character who is cool and trying to help Sasuke.)  Sakura and Naruto just got there and Sasuke id helpless becuse of the curse mark.  (Orchimaru, an evil sound ninja who is phsyco, a pervert, and ugly.  He put the curse mark on Sasuke cause he wanted him as an ally cause hes so powerful.  He set up this whole attack.)  That was the last episode.  Today, Naruto is trying to beat up Gaara, Sakura is pinned to a tree, and Sasuke cant move.
