“Is he… he okay?…”  The look in her eyes answered his question. “Is he alive?”

Kimberly looked at Riya. She said nothing and pulled Riya into a hug. She had said nothing, but her eyes said no.

PArt 2/2

This is part two of the two bonus chapters for my Jumper series. This is a yaoi ( Guy X Guy )so if you are against it please do not read... freak out then leave a coment complaining that it is a yaoi... For those of you who have read and enjoyed my jumper series then i hope you enjoy this ending chapter. atleast for now  ^_^

Kimberly drove Riya back to the house. When they arrived he saw the men that were sitting in the car this morning standing in front of the house. Riya looked away from them. “Why are they here?”

“They worked for River’s father.” Kimberly answered in a soft voice barely moving her lips.

“Worked?”

“Yes worked… River’s father was murdered this morning at his hotel.” Kimberly didn’t look over at him, but Riya knew she wanted to.

Riya stayed quiet till Kimberly parked the car and they got out. He stared at the ground as the men walked up to them.

“Excuse me Mrs.…. I mean… Ms. Kimberly Breen. May we have a word with you in private about your son?” One of the men said turning his attention towards Riya.

“Why not right here?” Kimberly said in a stubborn voice.

“We wish to speak only with you.”

Riya’s heart sank as the emotions started sinking in… Riv was gone… He’d never see him again. Tears slide their way down his face. He jump slightly when a hand was placed on his shoulders. He looked up at Kimberly and she smiled.

“If it can’t be said in front of Riya then you have nothing to say to me.” She said looking back at the men.

“Fine then… We realize that in the last day you have lost two people your husband, and your beloved son… But we wanted to tell you how it was that your husband died…” The taller man with a bowl cut hairstyle began.

“Go on.” Kimberly said with no concern in her voice.

“Your husband was stabbed to death with a knife found in his own apartment. He was stabbed over 17 times. So the murderer can’t get away with a self defense plea…”

“your point?”

“Ma’am even if your son River hadn’t jumped we would have had to arrest him for murder. We have his fingerprints on the knife use to kill your husband, matching your son’s print.”

“So my son killed his father… then jumped off the bridge is that what your saying?”

“Yes Ma’am that is what we are saying… And we are sorry for your troubles… The funerals are to be next Monday” He handed Kimberly three sheets of paper. “Two of those are the invites to the funeral and the third is a letter from you son before he jumped.” The men bowed slightly and began to walk away to their car.

Kimberly took the two invites and handed the note to Riya. Riya took it but stared at her wide eyed.

“It’s probably more for you than it is for me so you can have it.” She smiled at Riya and walked to the house.

Riya ran to the room that he had once shared with Riv. He sat on Riv’s bed and curled up in the blanket, and opened the letter. Tears filled his eyes as he read:

Dear mom,

I’m sorry for what I have done. I have done some things without thinking about them.  I have done things that have hurt you and others, but mostly I’ve probably hurt Riya the most … I was the won who went against what that woman said turning her words into my own. I was the one who said I would protect him, love him, and watch over him. Instead I chose my own death. In my last minutes I probably regretted these things or what I was doing. Just please tell Riya I love him and we will meet again someday.

River

Tears continued to stream down Riya’s face. He folded up the note and put it in his jacket pocket. He used the sleeve to wipe the tears away as he ran down the stairs.

“Riya!” Kimberly called out to him as he bolted out the door. She didn’t chase him. She stood their and watched as Riya ran down the road trying to hold back her own tears. “Poor kid.” She turned back and walked into the living room sat down and put her face in her hands.

Riya got to the bridge and looked down. This bridge wasn’t and overpass like the one he wanted to jump from. It looked over a river, not a calm one like you see in those movies where you could walk across it with a little difficulty. This one was what you’d call a raging river. One step into it and the current could easily pull you away.

Riya gripped the railing and began to heave himself up on the edge. He sat there with his feet dangling over the water for a few more minutes. He stared at the reflection of him self and watched as a few tears dripped into the water. The current was so strong you couldn’t even tell the tears even made it to the water. Riya let out a few more sobs and he stood himself up. There was no way to lose your balance on this bridge because of how thick the railing was. Riya slid one foot over the edge and prepared him self for the impact.

“Hey?” A voice he found oddly familiar called to him.

Riya placed his foot back on the edge and looked in the direction the voice came from. There was a man standing there probably only a few years older than Riya. The guy’s hair was longer in the front about mid face with the back of it, from the eyes short and spiked. The tips of his hair were red and the rest was black. The man stared at him with murky green eyes.

“I thought I told you, you were to cute to jump”
