I dont have much practice at drawing characters at any angle other than straight forward, so its not my best work, however I would like to know what anyone thinks about it (good or bad).

it's definetely not bad, but for a tip try looking at other's work such as something from a book, I'm not saying copy just practice and do some mirror sketches to inprint how to do it in your head..
