Okay, the anime 12 kingdoms was verygood in my opinion. So when I say the book it was inspired by was being translater I jumped to buy it. The book was astounding, mind you the anime hada few things changed. But if you are looking for a great read pick it up. New and old fans of the serries will love it, and I can't wait for the next one to come out ^_^
