I know everyone wants to feel good by giving advice, but what about when its not needed? From my last rant on dresscodes, people have decided to give me a rather large amount of advice, even though I did not ask for that, nor do I truly need it. I simply asked, at the end of that one, other peoples views, not to be doctor phil'd. I am strong in my belief of who I am, and though I wish my dresscode was lighter ( I would love to wear twead and plaid!) I will deal with it because I truly love my major discount on books which I thoroughly exercise every paycheck. The one thing I think they should truly change would be the amount of piercings in your ears, but that was the last rant. This one is on the fact that people think that I am so insecure (though I can be very shy when confronted face to face) that they need to coach me on how to properly live in our world. They say, conform, get your paycheck, and be happy with that. For me, thats just not going to work. My boss is totally cool, lets me get away with a lot of things, as long as I have sleeves, the proper colours, and collars. No one else is that brave here at coles New Minas, but hey, my boss knew I worked well, and totally by-passed my style. And she loves it that I talk to her before I pierce anything new, or radically change my hair. But again, I digress. I will say this. No, I WILL NOT conform, but i will continue to be my ever loved, totally crazy self. And I think my best guy and girl friends will totally appreciate that, especially since my last boyfriend put so much work into getting me to where I am today, where I'm not afraid of anything. Well, except you know, spiders and heights. but we'll deal with that later! ^_^
