I climbed out of bed and I noticed I was in my pjs and a little creeped out by it. “Don’t worry the maids did it, were not perverts,” Dark said. I walked over to him and we started walking down the hallway, it was making me really uncomfortable. “So Drake tells me you found the feather,” he said as I was waiting to be yelled at. “Thank you,” “And why are you so happy about that?” I said confused.
                     “Oh, sorry, you were expecting to be yelled at, weren’t you?” Dark said as he looked at me.
                     “Um… yea,” I said in a serious voice but still being sarcastic. .
                     “Oh, well anyway, I said that because it brought back memories,” he said as he looked up at the ceiling with lights in his eyes. It was odd because there were no lights on.
                     “What happened to the guy that gave it to you?” I said even though I knew he was going to tell me. 
                     “He died trying to save some girl that he loved,” he said in a mocking voice. “But be was a great guy, it was rare to meet someone like that.” Dark said as he stared at me. “He’s the guy that used to own Cloud. He trained that dog so well, and yet Cloud never does anything we tell him to do,” Dark said in a sad but cheerful. “Oh, I really wanted to talk to you about Dawn but I guess I got off track,” he said in a serous voice.
                      “What about him?” I asked.
                      “If you haven’t noticed already, he has a bone sticking out his shoulder blade. Please don’t ask him about it. Every time someone does, he gets depressed and angry at the world for like a week,” Dark said with sadness in his eyes.
                      “What happened?” I asked so I didn’t have to ask Dawn.
                      “Well I’ll tell you if you stay around long enough to find out our family secret,” he said with a grin. “You should know that not very many people live in this house too long,” Dark said growing sad again. “We are kind of… special is the best word to describe it.” “Well that’s all I really wanted to say so if your hungry just have one of the maids fix something for you.”
                       “Ok,” I said as I kept thinking about how well I fit in.
