I was cornered with no escape. There wasn’t even enough room to spread my wings if I needed to. This was even worse than before; I don’t even have a fire escape now. Suddenly I felt a cold chill, black smoke formed a cloud all around me. Then I was in total darkness, and I felt blades slowly sinking into my shoulder. Everything went quiet and the pain got worse. I looked over to see what it was, and saw a pair of ice blue eyes and fangs sinking into my shoulder. The fangs had gone deep enough to take hold of my bone, I felt as if I was paralyzed. Suddenly I felt a rapid jerk. Before I knew it, I was standing on the other side of the building and looking into the ice blue eyes once again.
