Jade and Peridot were walking to see Naruto or as they called him ‘Mr. Uzumaki’.

“Peridot?” It had been silent for a while and Jade finally decided to break the ice. “Yeah, Jade?” Peridot was told to go with his sister to see Naruto. She wanted to talk to Naruto about what it was like being Kyubi because after all he used to be it. “How come you weren’t scared? I mean knowing all along what I was? You were never scared?” Peridot was hoping Jade wouldn’t ask this. “I wasn’t scared because you’re my sister and no matter what you are I could never be scared of you. Some times I was scared but not because of what you are…because of your punches!” Jade laughed. Even when she was sad as sad could be Peridot could cheer her up. They were finally there. Now it was time to get some answers.

            “I’m here to see Mr. Uzumaki.” Hinata smiled. The Uchiha children were so polite. “Sure. Right this way.” She had sent Kino and Mel to their grandpa’s house while Jade and Peridot were visiting so they wouldn’t have so many questions. She led them down a long hallway until they were by a glass door. She opened it and gestured for them to go in. Jade was a bit confused. This was like a backyard but inside. “What is this place?” She was talking to no one in particular but she got an answer, “Well, when I was still ‘infected’ with the nine-tailed fox they didn’t really want me to go out-side, because I was…unstable. So I built this. So I wouldn’t feel so trapped.”  Jade was talking to the Hokage. She felt so special. But she didn’t want to feel special. She was there for a very important reason. “Tell me what it was like.” Naruto took a deep breath, “It wasn’t easy at first. All the adults looked down on me and thought nothing good could come of me,” he looked at Jade’s sad eyes, “but soon enough I made friends that didn’t care what I was,” Jade looked at Peridot, “Then when I became Hokage no one ever called me ‘little brat’ or ‘freak’ again. I think it will be easier for you though, Jade. Because of the great Nine-tailed Fox that came before you you’ll never be limited or made fun of. Hey, I was the Kyubi and look at me! I’m Hokage!” Jade smiled. ‘Mr. Uzumaki is the greatest’ She ran over and gave him a hug. Peridot just smiled. Then she stepped back, “But… how do you control it?” This was a harder question than the first, “You need people. To help you. But mostly it’s like drugs. You need to have the power to say no.” Jade laughed at Naruto’s analogy. She thought about it for a bit, “But what if I really need to use it?” “Then it’s your choice.” Jade stood up and bowed, “Thank you for speaking with me Hokage-sama.” Naruto stood up and gave Jade a hug, “Your welcome. But you can call me Mr. Uzumaki.”

Czarus was sitting in the corner of his room. ‘What is wrong with me!?’ he kept thinking, ‘Why am I so afraid of her? She’s my sister!’ Just then Topaz walked in, “I was looking for you!” He just stared at her, “Is this were you’ve been all day?”  Czarus nodded. “Why?” “I…no. I can’t tell you. It’s to shameful.” Topaz bent down about a foot away from her brother, “You can tell me. I’ll always love you.” He stared in his sister’s eyes, “How is it that I’m the only one afraid? Did you see her? It was terrifying!” Topaz stared at him for a bit trying to understand what he was talking about, “Jade?” He nodded. “Czarus… do ever really think Jade would hurt you? No matter what she is?” He looked at her, “I guess your right. But…I’m still scared.” “It’ll be hard not to be, but you could give her a chance. If it’s hard for you to see her like that imagine what it’s like for her to be like that.” He never really thought about that…and he was the smart one, “Your…right.” They both went down stairs to play with their brothers and sisters.

            “You know,” Jade was feeling good after talking to Naruto, “a lot of what he said made sense. Who cares what I am? Mr. Uzumaki used to be just like me and he’s Hokage.” Peridot just smiled. He was glad his sister wasn’t so depressed any more. He liked her smile. They finally got home.

            “How was the trip?” Sakura had been so worried. She didn’t want her daughter to be really depressed all the time. “It was great!” Sakura was a bit taken back. She hoped for ‘it was ok’ but never thought she could get the response she did. “Uh…well…that’s great!” Jade and Peridot went to go watch TV with the rest of the kids. “So how was her trip?” Sakura looked at Sasuke and told him the exact answer she got, “It…was great.” He was as taken back as much as she was, “Naruto is a good Hokage…and an even better friend.” He smiled and then they went to join the rest of the family in the living room to watch TV.

            Jade shared a room with Topaz. While they were lying in their beds trying to fall asleep Jade thought of something, “Topaz?” Topaz tried to see her sister in the darkness, “Yeah, Jade?” “I never thought of asking before…only Peridot told me…but are you guys afraid of me?” Topaz smiled even though her sister couldn’t see it, “We were already afraid of the power in your punches…now it’s just a bit more power.” Jade smiled and fell asleep

            “Kids! It’s Sunday!!!!” Ninja training changed. They wanted kids to be educated and such so everyone went to school during the week. So they made ninja class on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. Everyone got up and headed out. “Guys this is so exciting!!!” Topaz was really pumped up, “Today we’re gonna become real ninja like mom and dad!” Today they were testing the kids and then the next day they were getting they’re squads. “I’m just a bit sad. I don’t think any of us will be on the same squad.” Peridot didn’t want to leave Jade because she’d been having such a hard time lately. Plus if she got out of control he was the only one who could stop her. “Don’t worry! We’re brothers and sisters! It’s not like we’ll never see each other again!” The day went great. Everyone passed the test except for a kid named Dinky.

            “WOO HOO!!!” Ming Ming was so happy to finally be a ninja. Ten Ten would be so proud! “I’m a ninja. I’m a ninja!” Wen was excited. He couldn’t wait to kick some butt like his dad, Kiba.  “Being a ninja is serious guys it’s not all fun and games.” Just like Czarus to bring everyone down. “Yeah, being a ninja could be a real drag.” Chouji was just like Shikamaru in every way. “What ever guys I’m psyched!”  Kino wanted to be a great ninja just like his dad.

            “Today we get our teams!” Jade really needed a good team if she wanted to show Naruto how good she could be. “I know this seems lame Jade…but I’m nervous!” Jade giggled, “Your just scared you won’t get Mel!” Peridot turned all red, “How did you…?” Once again she giggled, “I’m your sister. I can tell.” He just turned redder. She could tell she embarrassed him and decided to be nicer, “I’m a bit nervous too.” Peridot chuckled. Pay back time, “Your just worried you won’t get Kino!” Jade turned red, “No! That’s not true!” He laughed, “Don’t try to hide it. I’m your brother. I can tell!”
