December 31- 9 minutes till midnight

    Sei tip-toed to his door and he slowly opend it, making a small creak noise while he did. Crap!, Sei cursed in his mind.

Sei was 14 and he was in eight grade. He had one best friend, Senichi- who he was about to meet in there 'secret base' they made when they were 6.

The 'secret base' wasnt very..secret. It was just a tree branch that was very old but very special to Senichi and Sei.

Sei thought it was a romantic spot. He had a crush on Senichi for years. Sei was medium-height and about 3 inches shorted than Senichi.

Senichi was popular and goodlooking. He had brown hair that was layered and wavy bangs resting oh his cheek. He had beautiful, deep, light blue eyes that were big and seriuos looking.

Sei thought he looked like trash. Black spikey hair that was at least an inch tall. Big green eyes that looked like they belonged to a six year old.

Girls thought Sei was cute but not as hot and sexy as Senichi was.

Sei always wore black clothes. He wasnt a goth but people assumed he was.

Tonight, he was wearing a black sweat shirt that stopped at his mid-thighs and torn, black, baggy jeans with all these chains on them.

Senichi always dressed wealthy looking. A neat, button-up shirt, with baggy brown pants he would probaly be wearing.

Sei walked down the stairs until he opened the door and ran outisde. His parents were asleep and probaly a horn could'nt wake his little brother up.

He ran excitely to the 'secret base' to find his beautiful, Senichi there. Sei was sure Senichi was'nt gay and a lot of girls liked him too.

Sei wanted to tell Senichi about his feelings.

What would he do?, Sei thought as he finally made it to the secret base.

He saw Senichi there, sitting on the branch, wearing what Sei thought he would be wearing.

"Sorry, Senichi", Sei whispered as he jumped up and sat next to him.

"Right on time", Senichi mumbled, " 1 more minute. We should be counting soon", Senichi said.

"R-Right. Uh..Senichi theres something I need to tell you..I..uh..lo.....", Sei stopped. Senichi didnt say anything.

They both sat in silence for a few seconds.

"Lets start. At 10....now", Senichi said.

"10....9....8.....7...6...5-" Senichi stopped counting and Sei looked at him confussingly.

Senichi turned to Sei and he grabbed Sei's face with his hands on Sei's cheeks.

Everything happened so slow to Sei.

Senichi leaned foward, closing his eyes, his long eye lashes resting beneath his eyes, and pressed his lips to Sie's.

Sei gasped and blushed.

What the hell!?, Sei thoguht as he felt Senichi nibble on Sei's lips.

Sei eys widend and his face got redder when he felt Senichi sild his arms around Sei. Sei still could'nt believe Senichi was kissing him.

Finally, Senichi pulled away, panting. Spit rolling down his chin.

"S-S-S-Senichi!? Why did you kiss m-me!?", Sei asked, his face still red.

"I-I'm sorry. I could't help myself! I n-need to go!", Senichi jumped off the branch and he ran away, leaving a very confused Sei behind.

"What-Was that....Senichi kissing me!? Then that means...he-", Sei started but stopped himself.

His face got redder than before.

"Oh, lord"

January 3- school day

     "Whoo-hummm!", Senichi yawned. Stretching his arms out.

"Ughh. Another day. How am I going to face Sei today?", Senichi asked himself. Groaning.

The flashback whent over and over in his mind; Sei's eyes widening when Senichi kissing him and how freaked out Sei looked after.

"Maybe I should just..pretend nothing happened", Senichi thought to himself.

He suddenly smirked, "Yes. Perfect"
