Angelica is shown sitting on the swing in the park as Marlin stands next to her. 

 

Angelica: "Okay here's the truth about your past."

Angelica's Narration Caption Reads: " First off your birth name is Alexander Anselm, as you are the son of The Guardians Arden and Aretha Anselm."

 

Marlin's Narration Caption: "Wait, Guardians of what?"

A man in silver armor with round shoulder pads, a cross shaped visor on the helmet is shown charging towards three green, scaly skinned, pointy eared humanoid looking creatures that have red eyes, sharp yellow teeth, and black talons. Next to this warrior is a feminine looking figure wearing armor similar to his with the exception of the feminine breast plates.

 

Angelica's Narration Caption: "You and I along with our parents are the descendants of guardians who resided in England, as they protected humans from demons, and NightWalkers."

 

Marlin's Narration Caption:"Why would they seek to protect humanity?"

The scene shows two men, and two women with snow white hair, while the men have red eyes, and women's eyes are green. The men are also wearing long sleeved shirts shirts, as the women are wearing gowns, and the four individuals are surrounded by a crowd of people.

 

Angelica's Narration caption Reads:"Because as the first vampires, The Day-walkers believed that they could easily coexist with humans since they were unaffected by the sun."

Marlin: "Day-Walkers were the first vampires? But I thought that we're a mutation."

Angelica: "No the Day Walkers are the first vampires for they are the spawn of Dracula and Natasha..."

Angelica's Narration Caption Reads: You see the Night-Walkers were vampires either born or mutated into being with skin that was allergic to sunlight. They acquired their allergies of water, and Garlic from sorcerers who's blood they sought to drink in order to use magic.

 

Page 3, Panel 2(Entire Bottom Half Of The Page): 

 

Marlin is shown standing on Angelica's right side, as she sits on the swing with her head thrown back in laughter, as she's holding the chains .

 

Marlin: "But what about the part where a vampire can be killed by a silver or wooden stake to the heart? Was that also and enchantment.

 

Angelica: "No! Every monster werewolf, vampire, Sasquatch, or Sea-creature can be killed that way.

 

Page 4, Panel 1(Top Left Half Of The Page):

 

Angelica is shown sitting on the swing with her head lowered, and her left hand under her chin, as she has a perplexed look on her face.

 

Angelica: "Well actually not all monsters. Hell spawn, and zombies aren't easily vanquished by those means..."

 

Page 4, Panel 2(Top Right Half Of The Page):

 

Marlin's face is shown to be wearing a perplexed expression, as his gaze is lowered(He has his attention on Angelica who is current off screen...So to speak.)

 

Marlin: " What are Hell Spawn?"

 

Page 4, Panel 3, (Entire Bottom Half Of The Page): 

 

Marlin is shown standing next to Angelica, as he shakes his head, and Angelica sits on the park swing with her gaze looking up at him.

 

Angelica:"You don't know what a Hell-Spawn is?

 

Angelica continues:" Hell-Spawn are demons who are immune to fire because they are born of it. They can only be killed by Holy relics, Holy water, and celestial energy."

 

Page 5, Panel 1(Entire Top Half Of The Page):

 

Marlin is shown standing next to Angelica, as she sits on the swing with her head lowered.

 

Marlin: "Aren't we getting off topic a little?" 

 

Angelica: "Oh right, you wanted to learn about your heritage, and here we are talking about Hell-spawn demons. But in any case shortly after the rise of Night-Walking Vampires, Dracula disappeared, and was replaced by a Night-Walking General of the vampiric army named Rasuncar."

 

Marlin:" Night-Walkers and Day-Walkers fought side by side in a legion of vampires?"

 

Page 5, Panel 2: (Bottom Left Half Of The Page):

 

Angelica's head, and shoulders are shown, as her gaze directed upward. 

 

Angelica: "Well yes despite persecution from some Day-Walkers for being a mutation, there were Vampiric individuals like our great ancestors who believed that even though this new breed of vampires could still exist peaceful among Day-Walkers, and humans."

 

Page 5, Panel 3(Bottom Right Half Of The Page):

 

The image of a lean  silhouette wearing a cape is shown with glaring anger induced eyes, and a menacing grin on his face.

 

Angelica's Narration Caption:" And just where both sides were willing to accept a peaceful coexistence Rasuncar ruined it all. He used the argument of Day-Walker and human persecutions to justify his genocidal crusade.

 

Page 6(Splash Page):

 

A male figure with a lean toned muscular structure, long hair that goes just above his shoulders, red eyes, and pointy tipped ears, as he also wears knightly armor is shown standing before a crowd of pale-skinned individuals who have their right fists raised along with his. 

 

Angelica's Narration Caption: "Rasuncar had fueled the night-walkers with hatred in stating that they were the superior species, and that Day-Walkers, and humans were inferior which is why they feared and persecuted the night-walkers. And that the day-walkers like our ancestors who guarded humanity were weak for choosing to feed off of animals instead of humans. Rasuncar had done all this by posing as Dracula saying that he had returned to his people after evolving, and ascending to the next level in vampirism."

 

Page 7, Panel 1(Entire Top half of the page):

 

Five individuals who's armor has pointed tipped shoulder pads, crossed shaped visors on their helmets, red capes, as they carry straight swords, and shields, are shown charging towards multiple pale skinned individuals who are dressed in black clothing. As two of these five armored individuals are shown striking two of the pale-skinned individuals with their swords. 

 

Angelica's Narration Caption:"And through Rasuncar's deceptive crusade, a civil war that would last for six centuries, as the Day-Walker were pit against their Night-walking counter-parts. The Day-Walkers fought valiantly, but in the end the Night-Walkers would be triumphant."

 

Page 7, Panel 2(Bottom Left Half Of The Page): 

 

Marlin is shown stand next to Angelica, as she once again has her head lowered this time with a saddened expression on her face. 

 

Marlin: "Triumphant? How?"

 

Angelica: "The Night-Walkers would use their bites to mutate humans into vampires, which caused the more moralistic Day-walkers to hesitate in battle, thus causing them to lose their lives."

 

Page 7, Panel 3: "Bottom Right Half Of This Page): 

 

Two feminine hands are shown laying a baby wrapped in a blanket, and placed in a basket onto the ground, as the baby is shown to be sleeping quietly.

 

Angelica's Narration Caption: "So in not wanting to have you dragged into this war, and to lead a peaceful life your parents hid you, and returned to England to aid Liocard and my parents."

 

Page 8, Panel 1(Entire Left Half Of The Page):

 

Marlin is shown standing next to Angelica with his arms folded, and a perplexed expression on his face, while Angelica has a look of uncertainty on hers.

 

Marlin: "Whatever happened to my real parents? And who's Liocard?"

 

Angelica:"We don't know what happened to your parents. The last my family, Liocard and I saw them, we were separated when entering a cave in England.

 

Page 8, Panel 2(Entire Right side of the Page):

 

The image of a man with a lean muscular build, as he stands to the height of five feet, ten inches. He also has wavy black hair, a dress suit, and a cape. 

 

Angelica's Narration Caption Reads: "Liocard on the other hand was once part of Dracula's army. He once served as a Night-Walker, but later found himself mutating into a Day-Walker after he was banished because of an affair he had with Queen Natasha."  

 

Page 9, Panel 1(Top Left Half Of The Page):

 

Marlin is shown standing next to Angelica, as she sits on the swing with her back facing the audience, and her head lowered. 

 

Marlin: "Liocard was in love with the queen of all vampires?"

 

Angelica:"It was more like she took an interest in him since was a gentleman, and an honorable warrior. And after Dracula found out he battled than banished Liocard from Transylvania."

 

Marlin:"And what about the vampire hunter who saved me last night?"

 

Page 9, Panel 2(Top Left Half Of The Page):

 

An image of the vampire hunter Marlin met the previous night is shown, as he leans his sword against his left shoulder. 

 

Angelica's Narration Caption:"Oh the vampire hunter? His name's 'Alunard' he was sent by Liocard, and my parents to protect me. He's also an artificial vampire, that was created through experiments that mutated him from human to a Night-walker. The scientist who did this figured the only way to hunt vampires was create a weapon that though like one, so they kidnapped Alunard, and ran transformed him into their ultimate weapon." 

 

Page 9, Panel 3(Bottom Left Half Of The Page):

 

The image focuses on Marlin, as he has a perplexed expression on his face.

 

Marlin:"You mean that guy is some kind of "Super-Soldier?"

 

Page 9, Panel 4(Bottom Right Half Of The Page):

 

The focuses on Angelica, as she has her eyes closed, and a smile on her face.

 

Angelica:"Yeah, but we taught him how to control his vampiric urges, which surprises me that you are already capable of doing that with out any prior training."

 

Page 10, Panel 1(Entire Top Half Of The Page):

 

Marlin is shown hold up his left  arm revealing four bite marks on his wrist, as Angelica sits on the swing with her attention turn ed to Marlin.

 

Marlin:" That's because I made the choice to not be vampire which allowed me to willingly fight those urges. But they do pop up every now, and again."

 

Angelica:"And how do you deal with it?"

 

Marlin:"I bite myself instead of other people. I started doing that after I attacked, and bit this one bully that was picking on me and Gina. Which in turn made me vow to never be a vampire as long as I lived."

 

Page 10 Panel 2(Bottom Left Half Of The Page):

 

Angelica is shown sitting on the swing gazing up at the sky with a smile on her face, while Marlin stands next to her with a perplexed expression on his face.

 

Angelica:"Well considering you are not human that could be an extremely long time.

 

Marlin:"What do you mean?" 

 

Page 10 Panel 3(Bottom Right Half Of The Page):

 

Angelica has her attention turned to Marlin, as he rubs the back of his head, while blushing.

 

Angelica:"As a vampire, you're immortal remember? And with your telepathic, and telekinetic powers I'm sure you can avoid being staked in the hear, avoid decapitation, or attacks from Holy weapons."

 

Marlin:"Oh yeah I forgot about that."

 

Page 11, Panel 1(Top Left Half Of The Page):

 

Marlin is shown standing next to Angelica, as she sits on the swing while they both gain eye contact.

 

Marlin:"Wait I'm a psychic? And how do you even know about my powers anyway?

 

Angelica:"My familiar."

Angelica is shown sitting on the swing, as her gaze focuses on a small black mouse looking creature with yellow glowing eyes, and Marlin is shown standing next to Angelica gazing at the creature with a perplexed expression on his face.

 

Marlin: "What is that thing?"

 

Angelica: "He's my familiar. I manifested him with my own energy, and set him out to find, and observe you."

 

Marlin:"How could he have observed me without me noticing?"

 

Angelica:"He can become part of your shadow, and since he's my familiar I can see everything he sees."

Marlin is shown backed away from Angelica, as she sits on the swing with her attention turned to him, while her familiar still sits in her right hand. 

 

Marlin:"So that thing's been monitoring my whole life?"

 

Angelica:"No, only within the last three years. The familiar that had been monitoring you your whole life was a bird created by your parents, which no doubt has disappeared since they are nowhere to be found."    

 

Marlin:"Then how'd that rat find me?"

 

Page 12, Panel 2(Top Right Half Of The Page):

 

Angelica's head, and shoulders are shown as her gaze is focused upward.(Supposedly at Marlin.)

 

Angelica:" Alunard took my familiar, and set it out to find you when he first came here to America three years ago. It was then that I learned through my familiar's eyes that you were being raised by humans, and that you were having trouble coping with your vampirism."

Marlin is shown standing next to Angelica, as she has her attention turned to him, while still holding her familiar in her right hand.

 

Marlin:"So you knew about my vampirism years before you met my sister, Gina?"

 

Angelica:"Yep, and then when I came here to find you is when I ran into her, and we struck a conversation prompting her to tell me, since I inquired so much about you."

Angelica is shown sitting on the swing, as she looks up at the sky, and takes note of its pinkish-orange tent.

 

Angelica:"Well it's getting late, are you satisfied now that I've answered your question?" 

 

Marlin(Off screen): "Yeah."

Angelica:"Very well then. I hope your parents won't mind you studying at my house tonight."

 

Marlin:"Wait, why would I be studying at your house?"

Angelica:"Well with the nightwalkers roaming about in this town, we have to be careful. Besides there's someone I'd like you to meet."
