Everytime someone wishes for something do you really think it will come true?

and if you think your being good by wishing for others, is that really just being selfish? I mean if your doing it half cause its right or you should and the other half so god thinks your doing right so he will grant your wishes. and when god doesn't answer you, is it for the better? I think wishes are nice but it goes half and half. when you wish you do it for yourself or for someone else so you can be nice. If I was to make a wish....it would be that everyones GOOD wishes would come true. not cause I'm being nice, no, no, no. but only cause I can. I dont have any wishes that I want to be granted. so if god was to say "ITS HOLLOWS TURN TO HAVE A WISH" and i didnt, so it would be wasting right? so why not give it to someone that could use it and maybe they could have something they need come true. I wished someone would have done that for me when I needed them. so now that i dont need them. I am giving them away.
