Chapter 6
Sesshoumaru and Kagome had just finished their dinner then she received the message. Kagome’s phone started playing the song ‘Heartbreaker’ by Tank until she looked at the message. The message read: ‘Gomen Kagome. I didn’t mean to hurt u. plz 4give me. Gomen nasai 4 breakin ur heart like that. At least it wuznt in front of lots of ppl an it wuz in private. Let me make it up 2 u. I’ll take u out 2 dinner wit us. I guess u can bring that yarou if u want.’ Kagome frowned at the thought of Sesshoumaru and InuYasha in the same room, let alone the fact that InuYasha had iust asked her to dinner, so she simply text back: ‘no thanx inu. I don’t think Sesshy would like that very much. But thnx 4 th txt though it wuz nice.’ Kagome looked at Sesshoumaru and thought to herself, ‘I must be the luckiest girl in the world to have a taiyoukai like him keeping me safe. I love you Sesshoumaru-sama.’ Without much thought Kagome accidentally blurted “I love you Sesshoumaru-sama”. When Kagome realized this she immediately started blushing but Sesshoumaru just smiled at her and replied, “Aishiteru Koibito.” After Kagome returned it they exited the dining hall. The couple had just returned to their room where they found InuYasha staring at his phone. InuYasha looked up and said, “Kikyo and I have moved your things to his room and her things to ours. So you’ll have to stay in that room for the rest of the week.” Kagome looked at him then at Sesshoumaru and said, “Arigato gozaimasu. I don’t mind one bit.”
With that the couple entered the room and started to undress and prepare for the night. “Koi, are you sure your not upset about this whole fiasco,” asked Sesshoumaru. Kagome looked at him, a little annoyed that he kept asking her the same question only re-worded, and said, “Hai Aisuru, I’m fine. I’m with you after all which makes things all the better.” Sesshoumaru looked at her then sighed as he got in bed with her. “Oyasuminasai, Aisuru.” As soon as Kagome fell into a deep sleep Sesshoumaru and his beast had a little conversation.
‘Oh, Sesshoumaru, I have a question.’
‘What is it?’
‘Why did we let her got to sleep so soon? When will we make the onna our mate?’
‘She is not yet ready. We must wait until she is comfortable around us even more.’
‘*Sigh* I will not be able to control myself as much next time she undresses.’
‘I understand. Do not worry, it will not take long.’
With that last thought Sesshoumaru said good night to his beast and fell asleep arms protectively around Kagome.
(The next day)
Kagome awoke to find herself snuggled up close to Sesshoumaru with his arm protecting her in his sleep. Kagome looked at him and thought, ‘Sesshou has been so good to me. I really am the luckiest girl ever. I wonder why ane-chan would give him up for the Inu-baka.’ While she was contemplating over these things Sesshoumaru woke and stared down at her. He watched her as she was thinking and thought to himself, ‘Kagome really is the most beautiful girl I have ever seen. InuYasha really was a fool to give her up. She’s even more beautiful than her elder sister.’ Kagome looked up and realized that Sesshoumaru was awake and simply smiled and said, “Ohayō gozaimasu aisuru.” Sesshoumaru kissed her on the top of her head and said, “Hai Koibito, ohayō gozaimasu.” Kagome blushed at his actions and said, “What should we do today?” Sesshoumaru thought about this for a moment then replied with, “How about we go swimming?”
Kagome’s face lit up at this and she nodded her head in agreement.
