This is a HUGE thanks for being chosen as a featured member *_*! What's really weird at the moment is that I can't see myself on the main page...it still displays all the ads from last week (I've tried everything, clearing cache, different browser, restarting computer T_T). I only know I'm featured from the lovely comments people have left...thank you so much for that. I really hope my page updates itself soon...am dying to see it! (Edit: I finally got to see the page using my other laptop and wifi...*SQUEEE* XD!)

I'm even more touched because this came at exactly the right time. Sadly the blog hasn't had any updates for a while, because I've just been having the worst 2 weeks of my life >_<. I returned to London only to discover that there was a massive water leak above my flat over summer, which basically demolished my entire kitchen and half the living room (the ceiling had collapsed, smashing everything on my counter, and there was disgusting thick mould covering the carpet and walls).

Needless to say it was manic trying to get things repaired and since I'm renting there were loads of issues regarding my landlord's insurance and compensation. I'm still living on a building site with nowhere to cook or refrigerate and struggling to keep up with our first university projects.  And I (inevitably) got ill from all the stress and have spent the past few days in bed with a sore throat and splitting headache.  I came online briefly today to check my mail and was totally flabbergasted when I had tons of alerts. It really, really made me feel better and I promise to continue to blog as soon as things settle down!
