Yasha's hand was throbbing after her fall, and the cut wouldnt stop bleeding. Dammit, it's probably infected! Yasha thought bitterly to herself. Her and Kakashi hadnt said anything to eachother for over an hour. Kakashi walked silently, reading his book. Yasha sighed, and even to her it sounded irritated. Kakashi didnt seem to notice. WHY isnt he saying ANYTHING?! Yasha screamed in her head.

That's when she heard the crackle of twigs being broken. She and Kakashi were on a dirt road, so it hadnt been either of them. Dense forest surrounded them; the perfect landscape for an attack. Just then five ninja, all dressed in white with their faces covered, jumped out of the trees. Three of them were attacking Kakashi with katanas and shuriken. Kakashi dropped his book, quickly taking out a few of his own shuriken and kunai. His opponents didnt seem phased.

Yasha was against the other two ninja, both with huge katanas. Yasha blocked a blow aimed at her throat, stabbing one of the ninja in the arm. He didnt seem to care. Breifly, she glanced at Kakashi ; he had killed one of the ninja, but the other two were still at him. As Yasha watched, one of the ninja struck...and hit Kakashi through the heart.  "NO!!!"  Yasha screamed, quickly killing her two apponents. The two ninja that had killed Kakashi simply stood there, laughing. Yasha carefully touched Kakashi's face. He wasnt breathing, she could tell. His chest didnt rise or fall with breath. He simply lay there. Dead.

"You're PATHETIC!!!"  one of the ninja who had killed Kakashi said, taking out his katana.

Yasha snarled, a very ANIMAL sound. That stopped the ninja. Slowly, Yasha stood up, pale light flickering behind her skin and burning in her eyes. Her fists were clenched tight, but her fingernails had grown long and curved, like claws. She snarled again, flashing huge canine teeth. "You sonofa......" she couldnt finish her sentance. At that moment, bright light flashed through her. In that breif instant, the wolf took over. Within a couple of seconds, were Yasha had been, stood a huge silver wolf, it's eyes pupil-less and glowing lavander. "I'm gonna KILL you..." the wolf snarled. It still sounded like Yasha, only slightly deeper and more growling. With that threat, the wolf lunged at one of the ninja.
