About two nights ago, i got mildly nostalgic, so i decided i should try typing ReBoot into YouTube's search engine. And unlike when i tryed a few years ago, i noticed whole episodes had been uploaded in parts ^__^

So starting from episode 4 of the first series/season, as i have a video with the first 3 episodes which i have watched too many times over, i started re-watching every episode over two days.

Now every fan in the UK  knows Citv dropped ReBoot about half way into series 3. My theory, now that the anger toward them has dissapated over the years, is that ReBoot was starting to be aimed at the teenage fanbase(and older). So, Citv dropped it, cause well, the C did stand for Childrens not teenegers =_= And i bet parent complained about the slightly mature humour (which flew right over my head when i was 13!).

So, i stopped at that last episode that was aired back when i was just becoming a teenager. And left if till nightfall, as i knew everyone would be alseep, and if i put in earphones i would be un-interrupted (until the dogs wanted out back -_-;). And so i did that, and i was left by myself in almost silence to watch the episodes i had been waiting almost a decade to watch.

Even though the last series was 2001, the animation still looked fabulous to my eyes, although Daemon looked like Skipper or a the recent Barbie body sculpt. But once i got past the weirdness, i realised they were, and still are the same sprites i adored as a wee kid. Before every thing i like now, there was always ReBoot(until Citv dropped it of course =_=). I never forgot ReBoot, i always kept looking for new things online, always researched, and cryed my eyes out uncontrollably(to my own surprise) when my mother brought home a big bag of Series 3 figures from the local pound shop ;__;

Now i admit to something, that when ReBoot started, i had a wee crush on Enzo, then as i surpassed his age, i started to appreciate Guardian Bob instead. Thus, Bob became my favourite, and when Bob was lost in the web, i empathised with Enzo/Matrix. And yea, us Aspie's are capable of empathy, we just don't feel it for everything/one, as i would consider that wasting energy -_-;. And so to further get to my point, as the viewer/user, i felt as if i were searching for Bob too, thus watching the episodes i missed after all these years, i feel my search is over now. As if i found Bob when Enzo did, i know what happened now, and can be happy. Or rather not have the "i miss Bob ;__;" lingering in the back of my mind, like i have had all this time. I'm glad Dot & Bob finally admitted their feelings, yet Dot is still a bit of a divvy =_= she needs to treat Bob better, and i know she eventually will ^__^; might just take her a while.

I think i shall be a ReBoot fan forever, it seems the series, before what i call its hiatus, was starting to grow up with the fanbase, which is good. There is no shame and nothing immature about being a ReBoot fan, so from now on i am Proud to be a ReBoot fan! And maybe incorperate some ReBoot style words into the way i talk, since Enzo & Bob (not Bill & Ted) had me using the word "Dude" quite a bit when i was younger. Though i say dude less since i got into Lolita fashion, yet i aim to be myself, so i shall be a Loli-chan & a ReBoot fan! I'll still watch my language, as in be polite, and other loli' stuff, yet at times i shall be like a sprite. Or rather if i think something is "Alphanumeric" or something is "Basic" then i shall say those words! I don't care anymore what others think, and maybe if i no longer hide my adoration for ReBoot, then maybe i'll notice or be noticed by a fan or two someday, somewhere ^__^

There is supposed to be a series 5/movies in the planning anyways, so lets bring about this ReBootRevival as its being called, if your a fan then don't hide it. Well, just don't spam non fans with things about ReBoot, just... i dunno. Maybe us fans should buy those badge making machines aimed at kids for ourselves & create Icons to pin to bags or caps & stuff ^__^ i already have the sticker machine, so I'll make some Icons for my J-lesson folder, and a few other things, and maybe if i find the laminater-thingy the stickers will last longer too. Also I'm going to start drawing more fanart sometime, and upload it here! I already have a few ideas for fanart, i just hope my drawing skills can handle drawing Bob, and especially Matrix ;__; he grew muscles & looks like a green beast trying to be a pretty boy, lol. Anyways, life feels better, almost right now i've seen all the episodes of ReBoot i never got to see all these years, amazing how bringing nostalgia up to date, and making it your present can make things seem brighter.
