By the time the sun came up Steve and Dakota had the entrance all most compleatly cleared. Steve couldn't wait a moment longer, so he climed over what was left of the rocks and ran over to Ayame.

"Yeah. Sure I'll finish all this work on my own Steve. I'll finish all this work on my own while you go talk to SOMEONE WHO CAN'T frakking HEAR YOU!" Dakota said sounding anoyed, especiolly on the last part.

Steve just ignored him. He was deturmined to find out if Ayame was ok or not. WHen he got to Ayame's side he bent down beside her and looked her over to make sure she was ok. The only injuries that he was able to see in the end were her legs which had rock piled sky high ontop of. He ran the side of his hand down the side of her face. Her face was stained with tears and dirt. Her face was also covered in dry blood. 'Good. You're still alive. Good to know you didn't die in here.' Steve thought in his head a little cold. Steve then kissed her head and stood up. He walked over to the pile of rocks that had piled ontop of Ayame's legs and started to judge how tall it was. When he looked down he could see that some of the rocks had peirced her legs and her legs were gushing out blood. 'Looks like you wont be walking for a while.' Steve thought in his head yet again in the same tone of voice. Where her legs weren't bleeding they were bruised and scrapped. Steve wasn't sure if her legs were broken yet or not all he knew is that she'd have trouble walking.

"Wow. She doesn't look to good." Dakota said as he snook up behind Steve and disturbing his train of thought.

"Well neather would you if you had about a thousand pounds of rock pilled on your legs." was Steve's reply, the reply sounded quiet and as if he was still in deep thought though.

"True enough." Dakota said with a nod. "She still alive?" He asked questionally and worried.

"Yeah. She's alive. She's just thrown herself in her own world. The pain was to much for her to handle." Steve said quietly as he started to unburry her legs. "See?" He needed to her face. "She's still crying." He winced as he threw the rock out of the cave.

Dakota bent down beside Ayame and ran his hand gently across the side of her face, wipping away a few tears that had just fallen from her eyes. As he looked at her he remembered all the good times he and her had when they were mortals, all the things they thought they'd be able to do. He half smiled at those memories. "Why wont you just let go and let all the pain and suffering of this world go." He asked her quietly so Steve wouldn't hear. "Just let go so you don't have to suffer anymore." He spoke softly as well. He was feeling more and more sorrow for her for every minuet he looked down at her. He had never felt this much sorrow the entire time he had known her as a mortal.

Steve continued to work. He looked over at Dakota every now and then as he walked past him. "So.....how do you know her?" He asked as he lifted another rock.

"Back when we were mortals I dated her....." Dakota answered.

"What happened?" Steve asked again.

"What do you mean what happened?" Dakota asked as he got up and started to lift rocks off Ayame's legs.

"I mean What happened to the two of you? She never talked about you and when ever I asked her about the men from when she was a mortal all she's say is that they were creaps or she'd change the subject."

Dakota sighed and continued to work. "Long story."

"Well get telling. We're going to be here for a while."

"Why do you want to know anyway?" Dakota asked sounding a little anoyed.

"Cause I do. Anyway I wanna know why she trys to stay away from men and why she's so upset towords men." Steve said with a grin on his face as he continued to work.

"Yeah well I want an even better excuse before I tell you. That excuse just screams 'I wanna dig up info on her'. And anyway. That part of her life is none of your consern." Dakota shot back sounding a little pissed off.

"Well at least tell me why she's pissed off at you  and why you're so pissed off at her that you'd try to kill her."

"I felt abandoned and alone after she was reported missing and her family, slautered." Dakota replied silently. "Now shut up." He ordered.

"OH....." Steve said pretending to care. 'Maybe I'll finally get something on her that I can use. FInally find something on her that I can use to get rid of the spoiled brat.' Steve thought in his head. "Tell me more. It'll help. Trust me. Besides you seem like it's bothering you."

Dakota rolled his eyes. He knew the only way to get out of this mess that he just got himself into was to tell about their past. "I seen her outside my window two days after the report was made. But when I seen her I had a friend over, Alex, she was there helping me get over the report and all. But once I seen her Alex forced herself on me and Ayame seen. By the time I got Alex off me and I ran to the window it was to late. Ayame was gone. I was about to jump out the window and try to find her when I felt a set of teeth go into my neck. I moved my eyes to see what it was and I only caught a glimps of Alex's face. By the time I woke up Alex was gone. I never saw Ayame after that. Then she apears out of no where."

Steve frowned. He had just heared a story that was no good to him. He needed to find out more. "Sounds like you really loved her."

"I did. I really did love her. And seeing her like this only makes me realise how much more I love her."

Steve through a rock out of the cave and turned to Dakota. He was looking rather pissed.

Dakota continued to work for a few mins then stopped and looked at Steve with a smirk. "But in the end you're the one who won....." after he through one final rock out of the cave he looked Steve right in the eyes. "But.....if you ever hurt her.....I will kill you with out hesitasion."
