Review of "Winter Cicada (Fuyu no Semi)"

The story goes like this: In near past in Japan some people wanted to learn things from western countries while others wanted to get rid of them all. Our two main characters are of course on opposite site while sharing the same idea of peace.

First thrill comes when they reveal their love for each other day before they have to say good bye. Ah so beatiful!!
Then the war comes. While not knowing is Akizuki alive or not Kusaka is searching him from every battlefield.
Finally they meet again, Kusaka saves his beloved Akizuki's life and hides him to his home. But their time of happiness is cut short....
At this point you start to cry.

It is beatiful and sad anime that has ending of a true love story. Graphic is very good. The characters look very much like the men in Haru wo Daiteita, very manly and all. (not really my type of a man...) In fackt this story is the movie they made in Haru wo Daiteita. Music is silent and you hardly even notice any, since you only pay attention to the serie.

All and all there is only few sex scenes and they don't show you everything (like they show in Sensitive Pornograph) but that is because the sex is not the main point in this anime.

Just watch it yourself and prepare to cry like you have never cried before.
