Review of "Good Witch of the West, The (Novel) Vol 1"

I just finished TP's pop fiction novel The Good Witch of the West, volume 1.  This was my third time through events of this book (first the anime, then the manga).  Despite knowing the major events, I couldn't put the book down except when I had no choice. My previous experience with translated light novels hasn't been too positive.  The English is usually awkward.  But I never felt any awkwardness in Good Witch.  I did notice a few missing words in sentences in the last quarter of the book.  Their absence stood out because the first three-quarters of the book were so well-written.  This is the first of 5 volumes according to TP's web page.  If all 5 volumes are as intriguing and compelling as this one was, it'll make a fine series if you like fantasy romance adventures set in distant medieval lands.
