My First DIR EN GREY Concert:

     I still can’t believe I went to their concert. Everything began in November 06 when I heard of their American, US tour. I talked to my friend and maybe, somehow, convinced her to go with me; I don’t think I would have gone alone. Anyway, I tried to get the tickets on the presale but stupid me got the wrong time so I missed it, I waited for the next date to order them.
     We had almost 3 months to put the outfit together and to decide what were we gonna do ‘cuz we didn’t have a ride home. But we procrastinated all those months that 2 weeks before the concert we began to look for our outfit. It wasn’t going to be so elaborated like others, but I had something in mind, so, I asked my friend to dressed like that just to see how would it looked on, she like it and I asked her “Would you go to Diru’s concert dressed like that?” “Keep in mind that we had to ride the bus dressed like that” She said “Yeah, why not?” So, it was settled we had our outfit. We began to put everything together buy some fabric to make the armbands and other stuff.
     Thursday 22nd, we were behind schedule, but still we weren’t sure if we were gonna go, some people said it was gonna rain, but as much as I like rainy days I didn’t wanna to get wet, didn’t wanna catch a cold again, ‘cuz it’s hell to have a cold. Nothing went as we planned we got up late and still undecided we were “go, don’t go?” Finally, we decide to go, late but we were going hahaha. We tried to finish the armbands, and some other minor details I was kind of pissed ‘cuz my glasses were going to be delivered until 3 p.m., when I knew the delivery time I was like “3 p.m.?!” “3?!” Even Friday morning I was “3?!” I wasn’t going to be able to see Diru *sad* but for my luck, they arrived a couple of minutes before we left home. YAY!!! They shat me up!!!!
     At the bus stop, every single person that passed by kept staring at us; plus the bus stop is in front of a school so, some teachers took a peek of our outfits too. I was beginning to feel uncomfortable but couldn’t do anything. When we got on the bus the bus driver just looked at us and smile. Yeah, yeah, I’m not used to go around dressed like that. Most of the guys that went to the concert know how to drive and others have their parents drove them there. And ‘cuz I don’t how people will react, some people would stay away, that’s good, from you but others think that they have the right or something to tell you a bunch of crap. -Just like on Wednesday we went to pick our clothes at the drycleaners and a man stopped where we were standing and began yelling something, we just try to ignore him and began to walk. I don’t understand why they have to mess with you, he was lucky that we didn’t react violently I wanted to but he wasn’t worth it, it would have given him to much importance; just ignore, ignore, ignore, ignore the bastard!!!! Others just say nice shoes or something and keep walking. Oh yeah, where we live people get amazed just to see people walking on the street, like if it’s a crime!!!! -Interlude
     On the bus I was beginning to fall asleep I looked at my friend and her eyes were closed, so, I closed my eyes too. A friend was in line since morning, we met her at another concert, so I sms her asking her to save us a spot ‘cuz we were late. I was hoping that she would be so kind and saved us a spot; I know it’s not fair for the rest of the guys that arrived earlier, but hopefully it’ll be the first and last time I do that. One hour and a half later we arrived at the subway station, waited a little bit and again people stared at us. When we arrived at the venue we saw the long line “OMG!!!” It was so cold and we need it to wait for another 3 hours, maybe at 5 p.m. all the buses that passed were full and the everybody just stared at the line and smile, some even said bye like an elder guy, he was smiling and waving. Also, the girls in front of us had a blanket, they were so kind that they shared with us the blanket, 4 people wrap in a blanket then this kid passed by walking looked at us and begin to laugh. ^^; At 6 p.m. the line begun moving some people from waaay behind run to the front of the line, but the security guard warned us not to run if we run he will stop us and send us to the back of the line we obeyed him, we got searched and then got in.
Inside, we weren’t in the “pit” as some girls call it, but I guess we got good places, although, two guys in front of me began to push each other; and the concert hadn’t even started yet. I guess they didn’t want to let go of the girlfriends, but then they stopped I began to feel dizzy, couldn’t breath I began to wonder “What if I faint?” I tried to be strong. Everything was ok until the guy next to me was shoving his elbow into my shoulder I just push his elbow off my poor shoulder. Then some guys, I think they were drunk, began to push and jump on everybody I was getting upset I wanted to get away, it was too much for me, so, I move a little bit but the drunken guy kept pushing and pushing I pushed him back hoping to make him fall to see if he would stop, he turned around and just looked at me all mad and everything I just looked at him, I was kind of scared I was just waiting for him to hit me but thank goodness he didn’t, as I told my friend even if he would have hit me I wouldn’t have left, I would have just cry for a little bit; get myself together and watch the rest of the concert. My elbow was ready to hit him if he continued. They didn’t stop, so we move a little bit to the left and we saw the girls that were next to us and the girls that were behind us at the beginning, we just looked at each other and smile, I don’t know why but it was funny.
     It was a great show; it was the first time I went to see them. My sight was just on Kyo, hehehe sorry, but where I was standing it was perfect to see him even tough there were taller people in front of me, they all had short hair so their heads block the lights so I wasn’t blind by them, so, I saw Kyo perfectly, I have to thank my friend she kept pulling me to see Kaoru, when I had a clear view of the rest of the guys I pulled her but I think she got mad so I didn’t pull her anymore, more Diru for me hehehe. Kyo, Kaoru, Die, Toshiya, and Shinya were soooooo AWESOME!!!!! The only problem after the show was how to get home I didn’t know how late the subway and the buses work, so, we were thinking on staying some place that were open 24 hours but we had to stay there for 6 hours until the subway started running again. We decided to take a taxi, we were kind of nervous ‘cuz it was 10:30 p.m. but thankfully we arrived home ok, it was 11:30 we ate something and then went to sleep. I’m glad that after everything that happened to us that morning we got the chance to see them.
