The Composure of the setting sun

Gentle Melancholy, blowing past blank faces

evaporated in the Infectious spring light.

                         Moist, new steps

carved into the emerald skin.

                   Disdained carcasses floating

in slilent winds across

the shadows of wandering spirits.

Twisted, archaic limbs scraping the sapphire sky,

               clenching abandoned summers, echoing

The laughter of innocent throats, yielding new

                                  memories

unto the tattered flesh. Tactiturn, unmoving,

   the pride of thoughts past

Tainted poise, reaching into forgotten

                 Dreams, profused

years meditating, wrapped in thoughts

                          of Lachrymose

eyes

Alone in my

         elation,

serenity filling the shadows of my soul

 newfound bliss effacing

                          burdans. All those intoxicating

fairy tales that cascaded upon me, a deluge

              of masquerade

but I feel I am breaking

free, from this impending cage of dellusion into

the sun-carved path toward

                hope.
