As I see you lie there lifelessly
I see your cheeks as pale as sand,
Your adventurous eyes,
hidden behind closed eyelids.
Those pinkish lips without no words,
Locks in the breath you hold within.
I'll never get to see your warm, sunny smile.
Or even hear your wonderful whisper again.
I'll never get to see your swifty walk,
Or even feel your heavenly arms,
that once kept me warm all over.
Though I'll always wonder
What your precious mind
Will think about,
As you go on
In an Endless Dream.
I wrote this one in thoughts of my dad who is no longer with us. A friend thought I had written it for a b-friend. I can tell you this my teacher said she was sad and almost cried after reading it, she gave me an A for it too. What do you think?

wonderful , but may i say that the first line in the first stanza when you said "lie there lifelessly.." i think .. that maybe you could say lay ... in the start i thought you meant lie as in saying the untruth .. other than that it's very moving ...

It is very beautiful- a wonderful tribute. I do have a question though: In the third line, did you mean "adventurous"? I wasn't sure.
