I Propose
To you,
The one with the unsure smile,
I have a little something for you.
I propose
True friends till the end,
A box of chocolates when you need it,
A band-aid for when it hurts,
A shoulder to cry on,
And a flower for your hopes.
I promise you
That the sun will come up tomorrow,
The future is in your hands,
An unconditional love is in your grasp,
And that you are not alone.
I swear
The hard times won’t last forever,
For every step backward, you can take two forward,
Your dreams will take flight,
Broken hearts do heal,
And laughs will come.
If nothing else you should gain,
I wish to you
Enough happy memories for a lifetime
And an eternity of opportunities.
To you,
I propose.
Hehe! We made a time capsul at school, so we had to put in something that represented us. I put a ring-in-a-box (much like someone would propose with) And underneith the ring, when you pull out the cusion, is this poem. You like? :D
