Malick lay on the floor bleeding to death. She turned and looked at the thing she thought was her friend. “Who are you?” she asked him as the water slowly gathered in her eyes. “My name is Cornelius,” and “I am here to kill you.” With that final word he pulled out gold with dark green and blue amber sword and tried to stab her throw the heart, but nefrotety moved very fast and was behind him with a small blade to his chest. “Doesn’t move or I WILL kill you?” She warned him. Malick soon rose to his feet. Where he was hurt is healed and the only thing you could see was dried blood on his shirt. “Do not worry my dear” he said in a playful tone “I will take care of him.” Malick grabbed him by the neck and she could hear bone crunching from the weight of his hand. All of a sudden they were both gone. She was left there by herself.

          When the sun went down he still didn’t return. She stayed in the garden and waited for him to return, but the night was cold and she went inside where the “things” where and waited.

          All the “things” watched her as she walked down halls and moved throw the rooms. One of them walked up to her. “Nefrotety, it’s nice to see you finely.” She smiled at her and kept on walking. She smiled back at her and walked passed her as well. She headed up to her room and lay in the cold bed. She lay there thinking of why this thing called Cornelius would want to kill her. Soon she was asleep.

           She woke up with her heart pounding in her chest. Sweat running down her face. “You shouldn’t worry so much my love.” She jumped up in her bed when she heard this voice. She looked to were the voice was coming from and only saw the darkness. “Who ever it was is gone.” She whispered.

          Nefrotety opened the oak door’s leading into her room and walked out of her room. There was one “thing” in the hallway when she walked out. She could only see the back of him. Long blond hair and a slim body but when he turned to look at her “My lady it’s so nice to see you out here so late and.” He paused “All alone.” She smiled and tried to walk past him but he got in her way. “Excuse me, my lord.” But he still wouldn’t move out of her way. “Move out of my way or I will have to kill you.” He smiled and let out a long deep laugh. She stepped away from him. She turned to run but he grabbed her wrist and pulled her toward him. “Leave me alone!” he squeezed tighter and she punched him. She never noticed how far off the ground he had her but she dropped to the ground hard on her left ankle and heard aloud “SNAP” and felt presser in that ankle. “Look what you have done!” She yelled. “Don’t worry, my lady.” He smiled. “Your lover was going to change you to night.” He started to laugh. She popped her ankle back into place and (tried very hard to) run. All she could hear was his laugh.

“Change me? What does he mean by that? She started to think out loud again but no one was there so she didn’t mind. “Why would he want to change me? And what would he change me into?”  nefrotety was scared because she didn’t want to turn into anything. She liked what she was, Human.  As she walked over to the watering pool still thinking, some one fell to the ground. “My Highness please excuse my intrusion….”
