AMAAAAAAAAAAZING!!!!!!!!!!
Right when I got there, D'espairsRay was playing. Hizumi was so incredbily HOT in real life, oh my gosh. His voice is incredible and I LOVED the whole band's stage presence! Karyu, Zero, and Tsukasa were amazing as well, everyone was so energetic and gave an absolutely outstanding performance! *_* Best of all, I was totally able to picture Orochi. I am so inspired!!!
MUCC! I had forgotten to mention poor, cute MUCC in my previous posts. ^_^ Their performance was great as well! I loved when Tatsurou was talking to the audience, reading a piece of paper with stuff written on it (his "cheat sheet"). It was soooo cute when he would say "sorry, my English is so bad!" XD Made me just want to go up and hug him! I had almost forgotten how cute Yukke is ^o^ He has always kind of reminded me of Akito, especially during the periods when he has blond hair hanging just over his eyes and all around his head, which is how his hair was at the concert!!! I was actually able to meet MUCC and get their autographs, and I was able to shake all of their hands! I told everyone in the band, individually, コンサート楽しかったです!シアトルに戻って下さい, which impressed them! XD Kyaaa they were so nice to me and I can tell that they had a really great time! Yay, MUCC! I love you guys! <3
the Underneath. SEXY BEYOND MEASURE!!!!!!!!! Seriously... their performance was so energetic and their songs are brilliant! Taka is so sexy *___________* his image totally reminds me of Miyabi, and the way he performed really fits what I've imagined. I only wished that they would have been featured in the center of the stage, but instead they played on the side in a slightly smaller spot. I was able to meet them as well and get their autographs! They were just getting ready to leave when I made it, but they were nice enough to stick around and sign my CD. ^^ I just knew I would love them, especially since I'm a big fan of Transtic Nerve! :D
I didn't get to meet D'espairsRay (SAD!!!) but I would have had to have missed one of the other bands performances in order to meet them, so.... yeah. Meeting two out of three isn't half bad!
The three Japanese bands were definitely my highlight. The other bands weren't quite my taste... plus many of them were far too vulgar and seemed to like using the "f word" a lot, which is among my list of most hated words in the English language. Seriously, it just made them sound so unintelligent ~_~ Oh well, that's power metal for ya. Avenged Sevenfold was pretty awesome when they started, since they had the belching flames and fireworks that synced perfectly with their performance, but they soon turned very dark and vulgar and drove away whatever good spirit had been there previously for me. I waited out a few of their songs just to see if it'd get better, but it didn't. I felt so uncomfortable that I had to sit it out in the lobby. The lobby smelled like beer and cigarette smoke, which was awful. I would have been totally fine leaving after I had met the Underneath. But we stayed until the end, which was after 11PM. I called Tsukasa and told me about it all, and I didn't get to sleep until 1AM, so I was so out of it at work today. ^^;
Dream Theater is coming to Seattle May 5! Tsukasa would love to go see them, too bad he can't... Oh well. He's hoping that Mr. Children will come to the U.S. and I'm still holding out for ELLEGARDEN to return. But for now, I am most satisfied. ^___^ Plus I was able to buy shiny new J-rock albums and a DVD to help support the bands I love! Emi loves you guys, please come back soon!!!!!
I am so inspired to work on TWTYH, but I have stuff to do before I can really work on page 41 >_< Like... I have to make my bed since I washed my bedding and it's all on top of my drawing desk right now. XD Lame! Oh well, maybe I'll just throw it all on to my bed and draw anyway. I can make my bed later, it's a low priority. ^^;
J-rock is love. My 9 year obsession has never seemed so bright and alive as it does right now. ^____^
