Way better than Wikepedia, these two comprehensive classics have been through several editions and tell you an amazing amount about all things sex-wise. Both are heavily illustrated.

The Joannides book sports an excellent glossary and a good deal of relationship guidance, while the Winks and Semans book boasts an incredible resources section.

Just the thing for the power couple cursed with schedulitis: a spicy collection of sexual shortcuts, with cute color drawings of multi-ethnic twosomes.

The Whole Lesbian Sex Book: A Passionate Guide for All of Us, by Felice Newman, 2^nd edition, Cleis, 2004

If you or your BFF is gay, this standby makes a great pillow book. And if you’re not, so what? It’s full of wonderful information about turning women on! You and your guy can both learn from it.
