RSoM: United Kingdom & Ireland

The results for the second United Kingdom & Ireland Rising Stars of Manga competition have just been announced:

GRAND PRIZE:
Knives by John Aggs of West Sussex,

SECOND PLACE:
Poison by Selina Dean of Cambridge

THIRD PLACE:
Beyond by Hannah Saunders of the Isle of Wight

RUNNERS-UP:
Happily Ever After by Joanna Zhou of London
The Homecoming by Morag Lewis of Cambridge
Redeemon by Mai-Yeng Tran of London
Promise Me by Khalid Kassim of Essex

PEOPLE’S CHOICE:
Experiment 1817295#7205 by Suzanne Lam of West Yorkshire

So EIGHT STARS in all, Suzanne Lam's entry wouldn't have made it into the book as it had no real ending, but was enjoyable enough for the general public to choose as their 'People's Choice'.

Congrats on making it in the TP roundup!! I thought the ending was quite okay in Suzanne's manga since it was the end of the battle. I also suck at writing :P! I'm sure I only scraped through as the entry you see when flipping through the book in the bookstore and thinking "Hey, not bad...I'll buy this." Then you go home and start reading and your brain shrivels up XD!
