Endless Abyss Ch.1

 On an average day, Keigo Strife decides to take a walk around town. Unaware that this decision will change his life, forever. A mysterious character appears out of the clear blue sky, with unusual powers claiming that he, Keigo, is the same as her. Of course, shocked and offended that he doesn’t believe her words she attacks and causes distress to those around them. Confused, Keigo decides to make a run for it to clear his mind and hope that all he saw was just his imagination. As he looks back, he sees that everything is the same!? He pauses in disbelief, then turns back and sees the same crafty character standing before him. She then says,” Your one of us believe it or not, I'm here to help you control your powers so you better be grateful they sent me and not someone else!” Keigo ask awkwardly “Who exactly are you? Are you even human?” With an evil snicker, she replies, “Are you? I’m something like, a reaper, if you please. My name is Yuki Takanashi, and I reside in the realm of the living and the realm of between. “I’ll give you some time to let this sink in…Shadow.” And without a trace, Yuki vanishes. With nothing else to do, Keigo decides to walk back home. “…S..Shadow...? Why’d she call me that?” An answer he fears will come too soon.

          Later on in the week, Keigo decides that he’ll ask his friends on what they think on the situation.” I shouldn’t tell them everything, or that it really even happen, or they’ll think I’m crazy…..Mmmm… how should I put it? Grrr!! I don’t how I can ask them!”

Keigo comes to the unsatisfying conclusion that he won’t be able to ask his friends their opinion on a “what if” question. His one option is to turn to his “other” friends.” sign… I’m really gona regret this but….oh well.” He takes out his cell phone and looks for a certain someone’s number. When he finds it, he signs heavily then presses the call button. He waits as he hears the three rings then a voice answers “Never thought I’d see you calling us of all people. What do you want Keigo? You want in, in our organization? Or is it that you’ll finally admit that what’s history and make believe in your world, is a reality in ours?”Keigo’s response is” I know you guys know some stuff about Reapers and you guys are good at telling whether or not someone’s human.” The voice then says”Yaahhh…and….you called so…we could tell you…. more? Or did you see someone who should be in this world?” “Well yah.  Someone by the name of Yuki Takanashi said that I’m like her. And she said that she’s similar to a Reaper, and then she said some stuff about how she resides in the Real of the living and the realm of the dead.” Keigo waits for a reply from the other person on the phone, and then the voice says, “I guess there’s no point in lying to you so…yah you’re not completely human. But don’t worry, you’re not like us. What she said is true next time you see her tell to take you the Demon realm. Then see me.” The voice on the phone hangs up. Then Keigo decides that what the voice said is probably right. “God…I can’t belive that I’m actually gona listen to Roxas of all people!” Then he heads of to his usual spot, the lake around his neighborhood. He sits near the waters edge in deep thought about revisiting his old friend. Then he thinks to himself “Heh, more like acquaintance. I wonder if he ever got with Udumaru. Considering she never showed any signs of emotions showing that she cared for him more then friends, probably not.” He stands up and then decides to see if he could do something to the water since, he supposedly has powers. He try’s to imagine the water spinning rapidly were a fallen leaf was. Suddenly, the water spins rapidly just like he imaged! Dumbstruck, he steps back awkwardly and stumbles. “…did I just…?”
