In the middle of my head
Sits a sign that only you could read.
All the sins and shame, depravity.
That in which I lack, called honesty.
For you, none of these rang true.
Capsized one day, by the demon of you.
Shadowed by doubt, by your fondness of me.
Shamed somehow, by your procacity.
Though your forwardness did not offend
And found it quite thrilling, to say the least.
The end was nearing you spent all your time steering,
I found myself at the edge of the docks.
What you lacked was always personality,
Punishing me for all your wrong deeds.
Foreshadowed by our mingling minds
You looked in the mirror and all you saw was me.
But darling perhaps you should have thought this through,
For all the people obsessed by me, were you.
It's about two people who are exactly alike. The guy sees through this other person, it's a she by the way who's narrating, but can't understand why everyone likes her better. So he decides to off her, only to find out that oops, he just bumped off his soul mate lol.
