World On A String
To my morals,
Bad as they
may be
I found light in your insanity.
The flashing
lights,
Echoing booms,
Chaos ensuing in your wake.
The flame
of your rage
Snuffed out by my uncaring hand
Dampened your
spirit, though you said-
You didn't give a damn.
She said,
"You don't make dreams come true.
What you create are
illusions of daydreams in nightmares."
Your lies weaved such ugly worlds for her.
To your morals,
Good as you thought they were
You found darkness to my sanity.
The whitewashed walls,
Piercing sounds of dead calm,
Really threw you for a loop.
My silent rage burned on
Never to be thought of by you.
Though you tried your best to destroy me
I was the one who didn't give a damn.
She told me, “I gave him too much leeway. Dragging me down to a place I could hardly crawl back from. Wish it could happen to him.......”
To her morals,
Grand as they have always been
Though no one ever found light
To her generosity........
She's never had the world to dangle on a string-
And no one will ever give it to her.
Getting back at someone is always fun.
