Fan Manga

I love the idea of drawing fan manga. It's a good hobby that could someday lead to a marketable skill or a good way to pass the time.


Though I'd use drawing fan manga as a way to brush up on my rendering and storytelling skills and panel layout methods.

I don't plan on being a Manga artist or Manga-ka I'll just draw Manga or comics until I'm confident enough that I'll be able to publish anything worthwhile for Darkhorse.

Why Darkhorse you maybe wondering?
Well I don't want to saturate the manga shelves and I want to give the manga industry some healthy competition.

To me Tokyopop is just a good first start towards a potential career as a comicbook artist/author.
I'm more of a manga fan than a would-be manga artist anyway. I plan on drawing some fan manga I'll post the rough draft sometime next week
I'm looking forward to any constructive criticism and some ideas on how to improve the flow of my storyline.
