Review of "Alichino"

In the past, I've been attracted to certain comic books and manga series by the artwork on the covers, but I'm often soon put off by the actual illustration inside, which is hardly ever consistent with the cover. Alichino was not like that at all, therefore impressed me from the off. In a similar sense, there are few manga books I could claim actually kept me hooked because of the story line. Although I originally bought Alichino 1 as art reference material, I suddenly found myself desperate to know the fate of beautiful Tsugiri and his equally gorgeous friends! Having finally discovered Alichino 3 in a local bookstore, I finished the book tonight and now I'm desperate for the last volume. Currently, in a similar sense to my reactions to volumes one and two, I am now thinking, how can they leave it on such a cliff-hanger!! But the fact that I'm worrying about this at 11o'clock at night is either very tragic or goes to show what an inspiring (if not occasionally over-dramatic and mildly cheesy) read Alichino truly is. I would really recommend it to anyone searching out a short but darn good series to get involved in, or to any artists out there, hunting for some inspiration. Alichino has certainly given me loads! ^^
