ABOUT RISING STARS OF MANGA
Rising Stars of Manga is an annual competition dedicated to finding the newest and brightest stars in the manga sky. Entrants are required to submit a short manga (15-20 pages), in English. Entries are judged on technical skill, storytelling ability, artistic stylization, originality and reader enjoyment. With 8 US and 3 UK competitions under our belt, Rising Stars is stronger than ever. Read Rising Stars 8, in stores July 2008!

Hmm...well yes this HAS been up for awhile. I'm a little confused though, I always thought that the people's choice was SEPARATE from the actual winners ( so I always thought one of the winners couldn't be people's choice) Hmm...I really do think people's choice should be composed of non winners so that gives more people a chance. What about Ex Caelis :( That was freaking sweet.... SO when does the next one start?? I think I'm going to try it...and I wish everyone luck who will enter with me (I seem to never know what they are looking for) Good luck on the next one everyone!!

I've actually seen this for more than a week... I think I first saw this in the Tokyopop email newsletter thingy, but it was added to the homepage only recently.

interesting results, I'm not pleased with all of the entries >_> but it's okay, there were some nice picks I guess. AND TO EVERYONE WHO IS COMPLAINING, the voting started a while ago (at least a week ago... you were just slow on checking it out). I was able to read every one of the entries.
