"Pantheon High"
The idea that the children of the gods of different Pantheons, (Greek, Egyptian, etc.) would all go to the same high school and interact with each other as typical American teenagers is unique, and works on so many levels. From the opening scene in the Thunderbolt Cafe (and Mr. Gonzales' plea to Zeus) the story is a great read. The characters and the cliques, the settings and situations, are so typically American High School, with the added twist that these are demi-gods. The plot makes sense, and the action is non-stop.
